Republican Sean Parnell, who was endorsed by former president Donald Trump in a closely watched Pennsylvania Senate race, said Monday he will not continue with his campaign, hours after it was made public that a judge had granted his estranged wife primary custody of the couple’s three children.
The judge’s order last week, made public in court documents Monday, outlined in detail the allegations of domestic and other abuse Laurie Snell had made against her estranged husband, and concluded that “Parnell did commit some acts of abuse in the past.” Parnell has denied the allegations.

As a litigation consultant and investigator, I’ve been involved in many divorce cases over the years as an expert witness.
They brainwash the kids. It happens all the time.
Children should never become a weapon in a divorce.
It would essentially be legal malpractice for the woman’s attorney not to use the tactic because it is so often successfully deployed, even absent any verification or proof. The mere accusation poisons the well and the father is not considered innocent until proven guilty - in fact quite the opposite is true. Ask hundreds of thousands of fathers who have had this happen to them.
I agree. Sadly, it happens all the time.
