Leaders at one of the largest investment firms in the world, State Street Global Advisors, will need to ask permission to hire White men as it rolls out a diversity hiring initiative.
"This is now front and central for State Street — it’s on every senior executive’s scorecard," said Jess McNicholas, the bank’s head of inclusion, diversity and corporate citizenship in London, according to the Sunday Times.
"All of our leaders have to demonstrate at their annual appraisals what they have done to improve female representation and the number of colleagues from ethnic-minority backgrounds."

Me too. How awful it must be in corporate America today. Yes I know this is a London company but I’d imagine lots of similarities in American companies too.
That is illegal and unconstitutional, but that doesn’t matter. The Constitution is no longer in effect, and the dems make laws arbitrarily.
What we are seeing is an across-the-board assault on the “indigenous” people’s of the West ,LOL
We hire the best qualified candidates—that means we hired two black guys and one white guy. We don’t do the “soft bigotry of low expectations”.
All the white guys who are currently top performers should say bye or downsize their performance. Either go to a smaller firm or go John Galt.
It doesn’t matter the race of who they hire but if race is a factor in hiring decisions I would not want them managing my money, it I had any, and not because of the race of employees but because they are not trying to hire the best of of available candidates. It might help their diversity and they might get lucky and find some really good money managers of color but I would not risk my life savings on that possibility.
Everybody is “indigenous” except white people. They have no ancestral home therefore are not indigenous to anywhere. Just lonely tribes of people of pallor destined to wander across the globe forever.
Hard to be a conservative, white, Christian, heterosexual male. I have no priorities or victim status.

So merit and ability take a back seat to race gender, race and sexual preference these days. My my, what a combination for excellence in business these days. I too am most glad I too retired a few years back. I’m afraid that there might be some going postal situations happening with some top level vacancies suddenly and unexpectedly opening up.
All these policies come from the “Human Resources” departments. They are communists.
Hope the minority peoples have the ways and means to invest cause the investors will be jumping
