Fox News contributor and former Speaker Newt Gingrich raised the prospect of election fraud on the eve of the Virginia gubernatorial election.
Right now the race between Republican candidate Glenn Youngkin and Democratic candidate Terry McAuliffe is very close, and Youngkin’s chances of winning have increased.
Sean Hannity asked Gingrich Monday night, “Does Youngkin need to win for this to have the maximum impact? What if it’s really tight?”
“If it’s really tight, they’ll steal it,” Gingrich responded. “So you can’t afford to have a really tight election. You have to win by a big enough margin they can’t steal it.”
Gingrich echoed earlier comments from former President Donald Trump, who cast doubt about the outcome in two separate statements backing Youngkin.
Trump has pushed numerous false election claims and baselessly insisted the 2020 election was stolen from him. In the days following that election, Gingrich went all-in pushing some of those baseless claims.f

He’s wrong about one thing. 2020 taught them that they can steal any election, even one that they’re losing big-time.
Tells me there are live ballots available with their names attached. So the couple files these affidavits and poll takers pull them and insert a Dem vote.
There is a cure, a simple and extremely historic cure for the “winner” of a stolen election.

I’d bet $1000 right now he does. Dems already stole it. They wouldn’t have made such a big deal about it and brought in Jug Ears obama if there was a chance of losing. Hope I’m wrong.
What is so wrong about this? We see it all the time.
If mcauliffe wins, it’ll be stolen. Obviously. If Youngkin wins, then he will have achieved such a large majority (approaching 60%?), that current vile demokkkrat grand theft methods won’t be able to hide mcauliffe’s political annihilation at the polls.
What kind of audit is he for again ? Last I heard Youngkin still believes 2020 was decided correctly.
Yeah, he really got used or just didn’t care. The best approach would have been to not get involved, especially given Scozzafava's record and positions on issues. But he leaped right in.
Also a good example of how useless and non-functional the statewide Republican Party is in New York.
Like after the third count when they mysteriously find a bunch of ballots that put Mcwhatever over the top.
Nothing wrong with having an optimistic outlook, but it must always be harnessed with a cold observation of reality.
I am trying to be optimistic.
But given the fact that the Left has already inadvertently shown their cards by attacking the postal service and engaging specialists in challenging elections, I doubt that the simple fact that more people are paying attention and watching more closely will be enough to deter them.
There is too much money and power at stake for them to stop in the absence of people being actively, vigorously, and publicly prosecuted and convicted, so I think it is naive to think they will follow the law just because we are watching.
Mail in and early vote has to be tabulated first in Virginia now.
There are 283k mail in ballots that have been returned and another 108k potential that have yet to be returned.
We know the number. They can’t be “generated.”

There aren’t 300k mail in ballots waiting in the wings.
