Experts on bioethics and immunology disagree, and note that there is little to no debate in the scientific community about the existence of natural immunity, gained by infection from exposure to disease, rather than by vaccination, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Many studies suggest natural immunity fades over time, and a vaccine improves immunity in people who have already had COVID-19.

“This is bad science, dangerous policy and saddest of all, ideology tricked out as ethics,” said Kenneth Goodman, director of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Institute for Bioethics and Health Policy and the Florida Bioethics Network.

The bill, introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives on Monday by Republican Rep. Diana Harshbarger, asks that federal regulations take into account natural immunity to COVID-19. Discussion by the bill’s sponsors indicates it is one of the latest objections to COVID-19 vaccine mandates in the U.S.

Tension is especially high in Florida, where Gov. Ron DeSantis on Thursday announced he would call a special session of the Legislature in November to ban local governments and agencies from mandating COVID-19 vaccines. He has also threatened to sue President Joe Biden’s administration over its mandate for some businesses to vaccinate or test workers for COVID-19. In the meantime, multiple Florida congressmen endorsed this bill, which is unlikely to pass in the Democrat-controlled House. The bill has also been introduced in the Senate.

Yes. This whole argument about “natural immunity” just goes to show that this is really about CONTROL. If they can’t force you to get the “vaccine”, they can’t count you as being vulnerable to all demands by the regime.

Fixed. What is not being communicated to the public at large is that the vaccine does not prevent people from spreading the coronavirus and causing other people to catch it. (Yes it does reduce death and hospitalization in the most vulnerable segments of the population.) Yet this is exactly what the average person on the street believes, and why mandates are supported by so many people, because of the fake news propaganda and the political agenda of the media/government/medical establishment letting people believe that the vaccine stops the spread of the virus.

Indeed. The article is either deliberately or accidentally distorting what the scientific community is saying. Natural immunity is something that has been accepted for literally 100’s of years.

With every disease except for the Wuhan virus natural immunity is superior to the vaccine immunity. He noted that Michael Schiavo, a one-time restaurant manager, became a nurse to better care for his wife and took her to California for experimental treatment after her unexplained 1990 collapse consigned her to a persistent vegetative state.

"And then he's maligned and vilified and condemned when he decides to get on with his private life," Goodman said. "Frankly, what he said his wife wanted is what most reasonable people want. It's primitive to believe that human consciousness is not important. What most of us value about life is cognition and communication and interaction. We don't value simply not being dead."

An August CDC study suggests people who have had COVID-19 and are not vaccinated are more than twice as likely as people who are fully vaccinated to be reinfected with the virus.

This is total BS and in direct contradiction with an earlier Israeli study that stated that it was 8 times more likely for a break thru infection than one in a naturally immunized person. Also, I know of many, many people who have received the vax and still got COVID but I have yet to know one person who had caught COVID, was not vaccinated, and contracted it again. Especially, in the press (Many players on the NY Yankees) there are loads and loads of stories of those that were vaccinated and caught COVID anyway but almost none who caught COVID recovered and then got it again.

A while back, like 6 month ago, I think the Israeli study said there was something like 100-200 in the WHOLE WORD who have recovered from COVID and got it twice.

And then you have the Troll on CNN stating that they need to sit down and have a serious talk about natural immunity sometime....What the HELL has he been doing for the LAST 18 MONTHS! They haven't talked about natural immunity seriously?
