The superintendent of Loudoun County Public Schools issued an apology and a school board member resigned on Friday as the district faces mounting backlash over its response to two alleged sexual assaults, one of which was allegedly carried out by a skirt-wearing male student in a girls' bathroom.
Superintendent Scott Ziegler apologized for saying during a June event that the Virginia district had no record of assaults taking place in its bathrooms. His comments came amid debate about policy changes related to self-identified transgender students. Ziegler said Friday that he misunderstood the question when he made the comment.
Ziegler also said he is "sorry that we failed to provide the safe, welcoming, and affirming environment that we aspire to provide." He told affected students and families: "We acknowledge and share in your pain and we will continue to offer support to help you and your families through this trauma."

Sue them, and keep suing them until every taxpayer in that county is homeless and destitute. Then the taxpayers will do what needs to be done to these “public officials”. They’ll wish they were living in a tent city on the LA streets once the taxpayers have to pay for what they did.
Exactly- what he did essentially was aid and abet a criminal instead of doing the right thing and IMMEDIATELY taking the girl seriously, but especially after the kit came back positive for rape- Instead he tried to protect and cover-up for a dangerous criminal because he was i n the ‘protected wokitty woke class’

How those parents have shown the restraint to not do what 100-150 years ago likely would have been done by now is amazing. Democrats hate American children, especially babies, but at least one group of federal judges does not. I read an article over at PJmedia about that, “Federal Court Upholds Texas ‘Heartbeat Bill’”, so give that a look. Now we just need a federal court to rule against importing foreign kids too and the left will be sunk. Loudoun kids are being treated as how illegal aliens should be, aka as if they have no rights.
They aren’t really sorry, any of them. They are merely trying to stave off the punishment for their actions.

Ziegler will be paid $295,000 in the first year of his four-year contract, which is the maximum amount of time Virginia state law permits for a superintendent to serve at one time. The new contract will begin July 1 and expire on June 30, 2025. He will be entitled to a salary increase, approved by the School Board, each subsequent year that he receives a “proficient” performance rating. He will also receive $12,000 year in vehicle expenses.

Any lawyer worth his graft would immediately use the apology as an admission of guilt and jump on a lawsuit. But in order to be truly effedtive, the suit would need to hold the board members personally liable, targeting their personal finances; having the district pay any award only lets them off the hook to repeat the crimes.
These “board members” should be charged with aiding and abetting juvenile rape. See how they like it themselves.
The one that resigned most likely has another cushy job lined up, so no big deal. Pretend to throw the Great Unwashed a bone.
