Former Vice President Mike Pence said Monday that he has a “strong relationship” with former President Donald Trump and added that the two had sat down and “talked through” their differences in the days after the deadly Jan. 6 riot at the US Capitol.
“Look, you can’t spend almost five years in a political foxhole with somebody without developing a strong relationship,” Pence told Fox News’ Sean Hannity. “And, you know, January 6 was a tragic day in the history of our Capitol building. But thanks to the efforts of Capitol Hill police, federal officials, the Capitol was secured. We finished our work, and the president and I sat down a few days later and talked through all of it.”
Pence added that he and Trump had “parted amicably at the end of the administration and we’ve talked a number of times since we both left office.”

The pious Pence is unlikely to ever acknowledge any weakness or failing on his part. Far easier to concoct elaborate excuses rather than accept responsibility.
With politicians nothing is ever their fault.
Hannity is a millionaire who makes his money complaining about the things ordinary people are upset over. I can’t stand his voice, his me me me all the time, he loves to have a panel of guests for a 4-minute segment and even better if they start yelling at each other. He like Geraldo Rivera and Juan Williams. He is really good at complaining. Did I mention that already? He predicts things that will never happen and then never mentions them again.
I’m glad they talked. I hope there is no animosity or bitterness.
Pence hasn’t talked to me.
I will never trust him nor vote for him again. In fact, I didn’t really vote him in the first place.

We’ll see but Pence is now toxic to most Trump supporters.
That said, the GOP will help him rehabilitate his image because Pence is an insider, and therefore one of them. The GOP wants him around.
Trump probably tolerate him just to keep the waters calm.
None of the top tier potential GOP POTUS candidates will agree to be Trump’s VP. He’s going to be stuck with Pence or a lesser known person.
This guy is lying thru his teeth or he would appear with Trump in person.
