That's simply not true...CBS national news has hundreds of local affiliates, all of whom covered this story by rerunning the clips from the parent station. Anyone watching the local news was exposed as well.
CBS has a very big megaphone whether you like what they're saying or not. It is a mistake to ignore them.

Gen Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, prevented Donald Trump from invoking the Insurrection Act against Black Lives Matter during their 2020 riots.
Milley, according to Bob Woodward and Robert Costa’s new book, ‘Peril,’ drastically minimized the riots to Trump, suggesting that they were mostly centered upon the use of “spray paint.”
Despite the violent protests spreading across the country like wildfire, Milley insisted that they had only impacted two cities and were peaceful, echoing CNN’s absurd description of the riots as “fiery, but most peaceful.”
“They used spray paint, Mr. President, that’s not an insurrection. […] We’re a country of 330 million people. You’ve got these penny packet protests,” Milley told Trump.
Milley reportedly informed Trump that most of the riots drew just about 300 people and that they paled in comparison to the 1968 Washington riots sparked by Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination and the Battle of Fort Sumter in 1861, which kicked off the Civil War.

Not true. Seefried is/was a Trump supporter. His voter reg has never been confirmed one way or the other. Had I weighed 100pounds less I would have been there with him.

Milley’s call to China was neither the result of Trump’s allegedly irrational or insane behavior nor a result of Jan 6.....
It was the result of an hysterical telephone rant by Nancy Pelosi insisting Trump was “insane”........ a rant with which Gen Milley said he agreed.
