New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) said Friday that people “should keep a very close eye” on New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s (D) final days in office.
On Tuesday, Cuomo announced his resignation following a bombshell New York state attorney general report which accused him of sexual harassment and misconduct against multiple women.

yep, I had that same thought. De Blasio will be leaving office soon. He’s term limited out and the election is in November. The new mayor takes office in the late December/early January time period.
So he’s a short timer too.
I’m sure he will still be “hands-on”.

Silly person. The Democrat-controlled City Council can change the term limits any time they want. They did it to get rid of Giuliani, then extended the term limit to give Bloomberg another term, once he went back to having a D behind his name. Don't you understand how the game is played. The Dems will keep changing the rules as long as it benefits them. When the rules they instituted come back to bite one of their own in the ass, then they claim the rules aren't fair, and want to change them again.
My guess is they want to give him time to cover up some stuff that will make all the Democrats look bad before he goes... probably a few pardons and Exec Orders need to be put out...

Then the day after he leaves “Hey! All the millions of financial database entries are gone. And the guest books and ledger journals are all blank. What gives?”
Why does this immediately strike me as DeBlasio shouting “Look! Squirrel!”
