yep, I had that same thought. De Blasio will be leaving office soon. He’s term limited out and the election is in November. The new mayor takes office in the late December/early January time period.

So he’s a short timer too.

Silly person. The Democrat-controlled City Council can change the term limits any time they want. They did it to get rid of Giuliani, then extended the term limit to give Bloomberg another term, once he went back to having a D behind his name. Don't you understand how the game is played. The Dems will keep changing the rules as long as it benefits them. When the rules they instituted come back to bite one of their own in the ass, then they claim the rules aren't fair, and want to change them again.
