Tyson Foods Inc said on Tuesday it was mandating COVID-19 vaccinations for its entire workforce, joining a growing list of major U.S. companies as they face renewed pandemic restrictions due to the fast-spreading Delta variant. Surging COVID-19 cases and new guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that requires fully-vaccinated individuals to wear masks have led many companies to rethink their plans. Many of corporate America's biggest names have taken action following the CDC's guidance, including mask mandates from McDonald's Corp, Apple Inc and vaccination requirements by Walmart and Walt Disney. U.S. officials said on Monday COVID-19 cases, along with hospitalizations and deaths from the virus, have increased in the last week, even as vaccination rates have seen a pick up amid concern over the highly contagious Delta variant. The CDC said there were about 72,000 new COVID-19 cases per day in the United States as of Saturday, a 44% increase over the previous week and higher than the peak set in the summer of 2020. Tyson said on Tuesday its employees at U.S. office locations should be fully vaccinated by Oct. 1, while other locations have until November. It added that nearly half its U.S. workforce were vaccinated. Labor unions and meat companies have been pushing states to increase the pace of vaccine rollout in the food sector to protect workers and avoid supply-chain disruptions from COVID-19 outbreaks, such as closures of slaughterhouses last year.

Yes, it does. I never buy tyson. I think it’s dirty.
I’ll wait for the clinical trials and FDA approval, but that’s just me. You can do and think what you want.
Have a nice day.
Recent data in several other countries show a higher rate of infection in the vaccinated.
I mean, what’s the point?
I’ll never get the vaccine, whether it has been approved or not. I already have naturally acquired immunity to COVID.
I’m not here to push vaccines on anyone. (Quite the opposite). I oppose mandates. I think this entire thing has been pushed by marxists.
However, lying about what the current law is doesn’t help anyone fight mandates.
Telling people that the vaccine manufacturers or employers can be sued gives them a false sense of security.
That’s not a recipe for helping anything.
(By the way, the word on the Street is that FDA approval is getting rubber stamped. You won’t even have THAT out anymore come September or October.)
Same here. I find Tyson chicken to be stringy and tough.
Hollywood breasts. Kinda rubbery. The Springer brand is pretty good when it's the right price.
Unlike “some” freepers who say they boycott but FULL OF SH*T, they dont >> (see NFL threads when freepers say they boycotted 5 years ago due to KNEELING and you see the same LIAR CLOWNS on Super Bowl threads stating they watched it)
When I boycott, I effing do it. Amazon? Never bought anything since 2015. NFL> Never saw one stinking game since 2016 Kneel-gate. Bank of America because they support illegals? Never had an account. I pinpoint my boycotts. Tyson? Never heard of it.
Employees are the rungs on the ladder of success. Don't hesitate to step on them.
Why do you keep posting blog articles from April and March?
Moreover, did you even read the article? It contradicts what you are saying:
“Consensus in the legal community has been that, at least in the private sector, employers may require at-will employees to be vaccinated, subject to accommodations that may be required for medical or religious reasons,” said Kevin Troutman, an attorney with Fisher Phillips in Houston, and Richard Meneghello, an attorney with Fisher Phillips in Portland, Ore.”
Your own blog post also links to a FisherPhillips and they have an extensive guideline for employers on what employers can do under existing law:
The existing law does allow for accommodations, which is but one method of getting around the vaccine mandates.
The other is to recognize that there is no centralized database of vaccine records. With that in mind, the mandates are essentially worthless.
I hate to break it to you that the lawsuits that have been resolved on this issue haven’t read the law in the way that you are suggesting:

For me? I have absolutely no problem lying to tyrants about vaccination status. It isn’t hard to skirt the requirements.
Most Tyson workers are illegals, Tyson advertises along the border for workers newly crossed over.
Stop it.. Please!
Have a nice day...again.
LOL:-)
Yes, there is something very nefarius going on with these vaccines. They are HELL BENT on getting everyone vaccinated. Why? It is far more than about control. I’ve had enough of it all. I am going about my business. They can go to hell where they belong. They are children of Satan.
You won’t need to boycott.
They are having “issues” anyway. So meat won’t be available.
“I am considering the Amish life. Looking better all the time.”
The Amish would survive a complete USA government failure. They know how to live without electric and city water.
If half their workforce says sorry you’ll have to fire me and simply goes home and draws unemployment then your production is going to drop.
The government doesn’t want to mandate the jab but they are pushing businesses to do their dirty work.
Exactly. Sometimes it really appeals to me... of course though, the Amish aren’t safe from the statists either.
For people saying they don’t buy Tyson items, don’t be so sure. They have a lot of subsidiaries operating under different names and they supply products to a lot of food service operations (fast food and high end restaurants).
All part of the plan.
