I had COVID in Dec. made my fatigue even worse for almost 2 weeks. That was the worst of it. Tiny brief sinus symptoms for a couple days.
The sickest I have ever been was when I unfortunately lived by myself far away from family when I was 25, having an “upper respiratory infection”. Wow. I was basically delirious all week, had to take a taxi to the doctor 2x, mostly sleeping and hardly alive. And that is without pneumonia, which my hubby had a few years ago. (He also had COVID in Dec.)
But our best bet as a civilization is to expose ourselves to the virus and develop herd immunity.
Certainly not to shut things down and hide behind ineffective masks.
I just hope that Linda coughed all over Schumer before taking his extra summer vacation.
I know at least a dozen people who had it, including my wife. All but one said it was no worse than a cold. The other is my 65 year old cousin who is overweight, severely diabetic, has lupus, heart trouble and who knows what else. She had a real struggle with it, but never went to the hospital and wound up getting through it.
With the Covid being the KILLER they all want us to believe that it is, does this mean that Lindsey’s days are numbered?
Because... this IS a KILLER disease, right? Not just another virus that we all live through every year?...
Not proven.
Where is your evidence?
"Waiter, this food is terrible. Not only that, the portions are too small."
It’s ready when you are.
Let your mind be your mind, Delta lady.
Many of us have experience. Both negative and positive.
The stats have really never shown any more than a 2% case fatality rate. Bad long-term effects are much harder to account for and we never seem to see any study on that.
It can be dangerous, but it seems only certain things indicate it will be bad.
As for “droves”, the CFR is minuscule compared, say, toots cousins SARS and MERS, which are about 11% and 30% CFR respectively. Those are FAR more dangerous than any of this COVID-19 has been. In fact that’s mostly where the fear over this came from. But we have to let it go. It’s been a year and people are not nearly dying in the streets.
Was he in Provincetown recently?
Don’t hold your breath. Moderna and Pfizer shareholders don’t need evidence.
“Afraid of the jab” is a straw man. One does not need to be afraid of the vaccine to make a calculated decision not to receive it. For myself, I’ve weighed the risk of the vaccine against my age and good health, and chose not to receive it. I did get Covid, and am recovering from pneumonia now. My personal risk assessment is still such that I won’t be getting the vaccine.
True, that.
Did they do a GAY test?
Yeah, I had it early on as well.
Gave me a constant nagging cough for weeks which wore me down... felt like my batteries were running out. It also aggravated my asthma a bit so I had a constant wheeze for a few weeks.
Yeah, I felt lousy but this was just prior to the shutdown so I continued working through it instead of going to bed for a few days, taking vitamins and fluids and resting.
A few years ago, I ate at a chicken joint and got food poisoning. THAT was horrific and I never wish to go through it again.
I had chicken pox at 25 - THAT I’d never want to go through again either.
The case of Covid I had? Annoying, felt genuinely lousy for a couple of weeks, but I now have NO fear of it whatsoever.
That boogie-man was just a kid in a mask in my case.
Gee, in my neck of the woods a positive t3st doesn’t get you in to see the doc. They tell you to self-quatantine at home unless you’re croaking. Even the geezers...
It’s good to be Deep State!
BS
Tested positive for the rinovirus decades ago.
Kathy Griffin has cancer and Lindsey has covid. I think I’ll stop here.
