Since N.O has been under Louisiana Corrupt Democrat control (contender for most corrupt evah) for years, it’s a wonder that it’s taken this long for the Demo slime to ruin a wonderful city.

New Orleans has a dysfunctional subset of the population. Without that, that criminal justice system becomes pretty much irrelevant.
But, who am I to inject reality into the conversation?
Taking down the statue of Robert E lee was supposed to end this.
As such, it is one of the few American cities that has remained true to its founding principles.
A New Orleans businessman told me Katrina was a blessing in disguise. Half the population had gone. Guess they’re back.

It’s not just about defunding, retirements or recruiting. Those are undoubtedly factors, but the real issue is the police aren’t stupid. They’ve learned very well the lessons of the past few years. The media and the political establishment have taught them to take a hands-off approach to black criminality. See criminal or suspicious activity by a black person or a group of black people? Do your damnedest to ignore it. Look the other way because if you engage with said black people and things go south, the media and the political establishment will vilify and/or punish YOU.

Cities across America do not need gun control, instead, what is really needed is criminal control.

The last line of the article really is the bottom line.
I’ve been to Louisiana once, I went with my son, but never to New Orleans. Louisiana is one of the least states I would want to live. I had enough of Florida. I did like the people there but did not care for the state. (Although St Augustine is my most favorite city.
It’s not a zero sum game. Didn’t most of the refugees end up in Houston?
There are only two states I would live in and they are Florida and Texas......................

Then they realized, why wait for natural disasters? We can open the borders and bring in dysfunction by the 100s of thousands a year.
