Most virologists believe that the “delta variant” is less deadly than the original because a virus that kills its host can’t survive. This has been obsreved many times in other viruses.

Deaths have already bottomed out in US. Cases rising, but nowhere near what they were at peak. CDC looks utterly stupid for their ridiculous totalitarian edicts.
