Yeah...a town called Alice

It all goes back further then that, especially in the South; Jackson Democrats pulled every disgusting trick in the book and some that weren’t going back 200 years now. Crockett left town and went West because of it, wouldn’t have been at the Alamo if not for election fraud in Tennessee.

But it was supposedly beaten back in the ‘70s and ‘80s by better enforcement and ‘modern’ safeguards....all of which have been circumvented apparently, and the cheating become hypersophisticated....like scale factors in the counting software, which is really unbelievable. There should be NONE of that.

So the self appointed gangster political class gave Don Trump a little education in who really controls the country: the most successful criminals, that’s who.

Don’s great achievement was exposing that. They couldn’t beat him without cheating. The question now is, how do we end it?

Won’t be by voting. That’s a farce as we all know now.

. . . a NYC Manhattan high-rise ?

Wow, you are an underachiever, aren't you? I think I'm entitled to a penthouse in Davos.

They’re organizing mail-in ballots from China and India.

Because as a non citizen you really only have a superficial stake in the success or failure of the country. A citizen, whose home is rooted in this land essentially must live with the consequences of their political decisions. A non citizen is like a tourist, they enjoy the sunshine, good times and prosperity but can always head back home when the storms blow in and things get tough.

There actually IS a good reason not to allow non- citizens to vote. It is so that there is at least a minimum stake that people who are voting on the future of this country actually have in the country and it’s future well-being. Either they were born here and have natural stake in the future of this country, or they have come here - and abide by our laws all along the way - and decided to learn about how our country is governed, learn about and adopt much of our cultural mores, and raise their children to be good and productive citizens. This has happened literally hundreds of millions of times in our history up to the present day, and while it is not a perfect system it does seem to be working out quite well (as evidence of that, there are over a million people a year coming here, and that is unchanged fir well over a century).

On the other hand, when you start allowing people with no stake in our society - presently or in the future - to vote themselves anything they want from the public treasury, and vote for people who will make it easier for them, then they will do exactly that. They have no stake in our society, and no clue or concern about the longer-term consequences of such actions. Citizens are invested in this country one way or the other, and DO care about the longer term future of the country.

I would whole-heartily support a politician who came out in support of limiting the franchise to male land-owners who are the head of a household.

I think you ought to be a taxpayer and a citizen and a property owner. Because that means you really have skin in the game and are not just drawing a paycheck for picking your nose.

Probably the best non-native English speakers on the planet, though some might rank the Belgians or Dutch slightly higher.

When all their precious ‘migrants’ start voting REPUBLICAN, they’ll be screaming for tighter voting laws!...................

How do we get them to do so? Treat them as we'd like to be treated, with respect and kindness, and be sure they know that we ARE Republicans. Explain to them that what may be given to or promised to them has to be taken from someone else, and ask how they feel about their income being taken and given to others who don't (or won't) work as hard. And show them what the left truly feels about them, that they are mere tools.

My niece was born in the United States and was not allowed to vote in 2020. Voter suppression! The fact that she was only 4 years old is not a good reason.

I've been to about 25 other countries and it has never occurred to me to demand the right to vote in any of them.

Yes and remember that Latino/Hispanics are like 90%+ Catholic. And VERY much OLD CATHOLIC. They will not support Abortion on demand, Homosexuality in-your-face. They do not have a ‘built-in’ reason for failure of blaming whitey for everything. They are hard working and family-centric oriented with a male role model that is enviable...................

But despite being pro-life and despite activist work against Obama by Latino heartthrob Eduardo Verastequi, Latinos in California voted overwhelmingly for Obama. When I lived in El Salvador I learned that the typical vaquero up in the hills was a stronger anti-communist than the typical upper-middle-class resident of my hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. But the Salvadorans here vote Left. Getting the Latino vote will take money and organization. We need to cut down the numbers that are pouring in.

You’re right. It is very naive to underestimate the reach of th Left’s voter fraud.

I once lived in a college town where all residents were allowed to vote in town elections. You can only imagine what the college students voted for, given that they have little understanding of how the world works, and then they would leave and never feel the effects of what they had voted for.

So, I not only support that only citizens may vote, but that there be strong residency requirements as well.

She thinks immigrants will feel more of a stake in the community... if they want that, let them become citizens so they will be able to vote. She can’t vote but she has an outsized influence on those who can because of her position—which seems wrong to me but I don’t think we can legislate against that.

Let her become a citizen, then she, too, can vote.

(I actually do not like those internationalists who think they are so so wonderful because (usually due to their parents) they have been exposed to more parts of the world and are therefore all sophisticated and everything.)
