A legal resident who is not a citizen can apply for citizenship. They have no cause to complain that only citizens can vote.

Personally, I think that if you don’t PAY taxes you can’t vote. No voting yourself other peoples money. You wanna vote? Get off the dole and get a job! Oh yeah, only if you’re a citizen of the USA.
The Constitution demands that Citizenship is a prerequisite for voting for those who will lead the Citizens.
Allowing non-citizens to vote undermines the rule of law and the common interests of our SOVEREIGN COUNTRY.
The same Constitution that protects the NYT's Free Speech and Freedom of the Press, protects America from being influenced by a non-citizen electorate.

The more I think of it, wouldn’t it be nice if NY City, except for Staten Island, and San Francisco up the coast to Seattle left?
