A Maryland man was arrested for repeatedly threatening to harm Dr. Anthony Fauci and his family, along with another top doctor.
Thomas Patrick Connally Jr., 56, allegedly sent multiple emails that repeatedly threatened acts of gun violence, physical beatings, torture and arson, according to a criminal complaint unsealed Tuesday.
The profanity-laced missives were sent from an encrypted Swiss-based email account between December and last week, and were filled with conspiracy theories and anti-Semitic and homophobic comments, documents allege.

The emails sound more like he believes America will rise up spontaneously as a mob to kill both Fauci and his family in terrible ways - and he’s quite happy about that - in a grim, profane sort of way. I don’t see where Connally threatens to do the violence himself. Maybe there are other emails not shown where that happens. Obviously, the sender is mentally disturbed.
Go to any public posting board, or even the comments columns of news publications etc, and you will find plenty of threats against govt officials etc. There are probably millions of them. You are going to arrest all them millions too?
From the complaint: “You will wish you were dead when I’m finished bludgeoning your disgusting elf freemason skull into the pavement.”
Sounds like a threat to me.

For people to get their panties in a wad over this, they need to get real.
I think Nike said it best, “Just Do It”. Threatening someone is useless as it warns them to be watchful.
That’s a little different from directly communicating a threat to a public official, isn’t it?
Regardless of how your feel about threats, threatening a public official is a crime. And this idiot emailed the evidence of his crime directly to the federal government from an email address that was easily associated to an IP address tied to his home address. This is the lowest of low-hanging fruit.
Must be the CIA coded Protonmail.
Don’t forget that its quite possible that he never sent any of those emails. His computer could have been hacked to implicate him. The technology does exist for that to be a reality, as we all know.

Buy a cheap “prepaid” phone, with cash. Don’t forget to wear your mask.
Go to your least favorite coffee shop, sign into their free wifi. Walk in from down the block. Wear your mask.
Get a free email account and send “whatever”.
Pull out the battery and do not use the phone for any other purpose. It’s best to hide the phone away from your home.
Always start your emails with: “As a proud BLM supporter”.

Flip phone with wifi and email for around $8.50.
You don’t need a cell plan to send emails over wifi.
