So an official government agency is going to violate your HIPPA rights by asking about your medical history?
I wonder what the unions are going to think about this.
I don’t think they can force ANY civilian employee, other than possibly those who have physical contact with patients, to have the vaccination. And, in particular, they CERTAINLY can’t force those who had and recovered from COVID-19 to be vaccinated.
Folks, like I told my kids who had COVID-19, SAVE YOUR COVID-19 POSITIVE TEST REPORT!

MESSAGE FROM THE SECRETARY
Vaccine
On Wednesday, July 28, 2021, we are making COVID-19 vaccines mandatory for Title 38 Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) health care personnel—including physicians, dentists, podiatrists, optometrists, registered nurses, physician assistants, expanded-function dental auxiliaries and chiropractors—who work in Veterans Health Administration (VHA) facilities, visit VHA facilities or provide direct care to those we serve. Each employee will have 8 weeks to be fully vaccinated.
Above all else, I’m doing this because it’s the best way to keep the Nation’s Veterans and our employees safe.
Any unvaccinated employees who interact with Veterans right now are putting those Veterans at risk—and that’s a risk we simply cannot take. Since the pandemic began, we have lost tens of thousands of Veterans to this deadly disease. The risks are even higher now due to the Delta variant, which has claimed the lives of at least three of the four VA employees we’ve lost to COVID in recent weeks and spurred a large outbreak among unvaccinated employees at a VA Law Enforcement Training facility. This variant is more transmissible, more likely to lead to hospitalizations and less responsive to treatments than previous variants—which makes the unvaccinated among us more vulnerable, more likely to become first infected and more likely to spread the infection to others.
The vaccine can help us prevent these tragedies by providing strong protection against COVID-19 transmissions, hospitalizations and deaths. Nearly every person dying from COVID-19 right now is unvaccinated—which means that from now on, almost every COVID-19 death is preventable. That is why Title 38 employees must be vaccinated.
More information is coming soon about the mandate implementation, including specifics about how to report your COVID-19 vaccinations while addressing privacy concerns. I’ve shared the policy with our Union partners and want to give them time to share any potential ideas they have before sharing it with you as final. For now, I want you to know that I did not make this decision lightly. I have discussed this mandate extensively with leaders at VHA, the Veterans Benefits Administration and the National Cemetery Administration, as well as leading health care experts—all of whom agreed that this is the best course of action to protect the Nation’s Veterans and their families. Mandates are supported by many national medical organizations, including the American Hospital Association, America’s Essential Hospitals and a multi-society group of the leading Infectious Disease Societies. Today, the American Medical Association, American Nurses Association, American College of Physicians, American Academy of Pediatrics, Association of American Medical Colleges and National Association for Home Care and Hospice also endorsed mandating COVID-19 vaccination for health care workers.
So please, if you have not already been vaccinated, do so as soon as you can. All VA employees are eligible to be vaccinated without charge at any of our facilities. You will receive 4 hours of paid administrative leave after demonstrating that you have been vaccinated. And if you have any outstanding questions about the vaccine, you can find more information about its safety and effectiveness in these FAQs or view clinician and Veteran videos here.
The bottom line is that we cannot provide the best care and services to the Nation’s Veterans if we do not first care for ourselves. Whenever a Veteran or teammate sets foot in a VA facility, they deserve to know we have done everything in our power to keep them safe. With this mandate, we can once again make—and keep—that fundamental promise.
Thank you to those of you who have already been vaccinated, and to those of you who will get vaccinated now. There is no better way to keep Veterans or our colleagues safe.

My lib ex-SIL (we’re still very close and good friends). She’s a VA nurse and took the vaxx months ago. But it was her CHOICE.
A government job has its negatives, I guess.
Since no vaccine is FDA approved, I assume this should be pretty easily struck down in court. Can they require accepting an experimental drug?
So they lied. We knew they were lying and now the mandates.
‘LEPER, UNCLEAN UNCLEAN!”
And wait for the new booster mandates, wait for the bread lines and hyper inflation all blamed on the unwashed masses...they’ll need safety zones like Warsaw and Treblinka soon...but first a star, or maybe something akin to a star?
So 21 USC 360 states that no experimental vaccine can be mandatory, yet, the federal government violates that law.
Seems we have a Rule of Law problem here.
Just ask the Democrat fleabaggers from Texas, all of whom were "vaccinated" who spread COVID-19 to Kamala Harris.
This includes doctors, dentists, nurses, physicians assistants and physical therapists at VA medical centers across the country.
Question from this guy who has been labelled an "anti-vaxxer" who ignores the science because I questioned the safety of the vaccines:
If the science is settled, and safety of the vaccines have been fully established, then why are the most knowledgeable, best informed population in our country, the doctors, nurses, and PAs, not already vaccinated?
What is it that they know that they're not telling us?
Why did the VA say 2 months?
“Yes. Veteran Affairs is going to in fact require that all docs working in facilities are going to have to be vaccinated,’ Biden said, following a report quoting his Veterans Affairs secretary regarding health care workers at the VA.
115,000 staffers will have two months to get inoculated against the coronavirus, and face being fired if they do not oblige.”
The Probable answer to why 2 months:
When might the vaccines be approved?
On 16 July, FDA accepted Pfizer’s application “under priority review”—meaning it will move faster than during standard reviews, which typically take at least 10 months; the agency now has until January 2022 to review the materials.
That seems like a long time, but last week an FDA official told CNN that the decision is likely to come within 2 months. “The review … has been ongoing, is among the highest priorities of the agency, and the agency intends to complete the review far in advance of the [January] Date,” an FDA press officer confirmed to Science in a statement.
Next up, all Vets will be vaccinated or you lose your benefits.
Then Medicare.
Then...

What treatment do covid veteran patients receive in the VA hospitals?
Democrats are seriously split over the vaccine. It will be fun watching their meltdown.
I hear there are plenty of fake vaccination on the market. I suspect they are about to get a high demand.
Please sidebar this so everyone can find it easy. Thanks for posting!
Never again should anyone ever ask why the good citizens of Germany sat back and watched the Nazis carry out their evil atrocities.
Cause we Americans are doing the same thing. Sitting back and watching it happen.
And even moreso - getting the vaxx voluntarily and endorsing the American atrocities soon to come.
A bunch of them writing out their last will and testament as we read this.
