It’s no secret that fireworks can cause some serious air pollution, in the United States as well as in other countries where holiday displays are common, like China and India. But not everyone is equally at risk from the noxious particles that suffuse the sky during our pyrotechnic light shows. In California, for example, vulnerable populations are more exposed to fireworks pollution on the Fourth of July.

It’s the “vulnerable populations” that spend the most on fireworks and detonate them 24/7 for weeks prior to and after July 4th.
I personally don’t believe in burning money, but that’s just me.
So when are they going to do a story on “The Hidden Toll of socialists on Societies They Infest”?
Note how neo commies and hyper-Karens want to end fireworks and July 4 altogether.
There are glass-half-full sorts of people, and then there those that would throw the glass angrily on the floor, so they can complain about the mess it can make.
For cryin’ out loud - they never stop, do they?
This female fool cannot be serious. These kinds of people suffer from very disastrous mental deficiencies.
Liberals. The party of no fun.
(Except sex and drugs, which they adore.)
Very good preview of communism.
Okay...I can understand OTHER problems associated with fireworks.
For instance, veterans who suffer from PTSD, and are set off by the explosions.
Animals who are freaked out by the explosions and louds sounds.
And in the exceptionally dry parts of the country, there’s also the danger of fires started by fireworks.
But under NO circumstances does it many ANY sense that POLLUTION would even be a factor in someone’s dislike of fireworks....unless they’re a veggie-eating`, tree-hugging, Biden-voting, America-hating FULL-BLOWN UTTER IDIOT!!!!
When their hell freezes.
Hopefully that is soon.
This is exhibit #1 that National Geographic has gone completely crazy.
To be more descriptive of their content these days, I suggest they change their name to “The National Geographic Lampoon”.
By the way, note their comment “...vulnerable populations are more exposed to fireworks pollution on the Fourth of July”. That’s a subtle playing of the race card. Fireworks are now racist, it seems.
Anyone who lives in a democrat controlled metropolitan area.
One year, Grandma had us tie like a hundred rockets to her wheelchair.
Melted the spokes, but she was 300 feet in the air so it didn’t matter.
It's pretty clear. Fireworks (like everything else) are raaaaaaaaaaaaaacist. It's like the California Prop 65 warning where every single substance on the earth is a “chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive harm”, everything is racist.
That explains it. Disney owns a large portion of it.
Oh, effin grow up...
Well blooming flowers are also known as oh never-mind
Fireworks are ray-ciss.
It’s not burning it. It’s sending it to China.
Wish I could figure out how to post pic of the author
