A Virginia Tech soccer player is claiming that her coach berated her and penalized her for declining to kneel for the national anthem.
The lawsuit claims the coach's "tirade" was "so extreme" that it left other team members shocked...
A former Virginia Tech women’s soccer player is suing coach Charles "Chugger" Adair for orchestrating a “campaign of abuse and retaliation” to punish her for standing during the national anthem..
"Coach Adair's tirade was so extreme, so personally directed at Hening," the complaint continues. And it "shocked" Hening's teammates, who rallied to console her when the ordeal was over.
By the team’s third match against Clemson University on Sept. 20, Hening, who started 37 games during her first two seasons as a Virginia Tech Hokie, was allegedly removed from the starting lineup, forcing her, she says, to leave the program to escape behavior so “intolerable she felt compelled to resigned.”
According to the twelve-page complaint, Hening's teammates apprised Coach Adair of her opposition to protesting the national anthem before the season, asking him to "address the fact that some of his players were 'racist' and did not support BLM."
The following day, Coach Adair allegedly joined other coaches in joking that "some of the players and their families probably thought 'All Lives Matter.'"
Virginia Tech has declined to comment on pending litigation.
I hope to see more suits against the racist authoritarians. People need to fight back.
Adair, if this is true, needs be made an example of by dragging him around the field behind a tractor.
Expose these people, sue these people, destroy these people.

So her teammates "supported her" after they complained to the coach that she was "racist" and "did not support BLM"?
Any “woke” that does harm to a decent, rational person deserves to have their life made miserable.
Saw a similar thing at Penn State when a black lesbian player complained about Coach Rene Portland’s alleged mistreatment of her. Portland was eventually removed as head coach over it. The player was a highly recruited HS player who simply failed to perform and develop and got benched for it. But that player managed to convince the university that it was all the coaches fault.
BTW, the player transferred out and didn’t crack the starting lineup at the smaller school. So I guess she wasn’t “all that”?
Is VATECH a private or public school? If public, there could be federal civil rights violations as well.
“Chugger” has been chugging racist propaganda.

Good. Lawsuits seem to be the only way to reach out and slap these out of control institutions. Sue them into the ground.
May she own the school. Let them take the financial hit for the coach’s bullying. They can’t preach about “safe spaces” and then have their staff create a hostile one.

So an adult male in a position of power verbally abused and harassed a female student in his control.
If the school is smart, this case will be settled out of court for major dollars in damages. If the school is particularly stupid, and goes to court, they are likely to be forced to pay even *more* dollars in damages. Just ask the “woke” brigade at Oberlin College which got a $44 million dollar judgment against the school for defaming Gibson’s Bakery.
It may get to the point that black lives don’t matter much at all. Won’t be whitie’s fault, either. People are becoming fed up with the constant racism drumbeat. It isn’t shaking out like you hope.

Good ole Chugger’s done let his hummingbird mouth get his hound dog ass in more trouble than a little bit. If the allegations are sustained Chugger’s dirty little political vendetta will (or ought to) kill his career. So when his chickens come home to roost (although he’s the one who laid all the rotten eggs) ole Chugger’s bones will be all that remains after one hell of a public peckin’ party. And, the arrogant jerk did it to himself, proving once again the ancient Greeks were right about the seeds of self destruction.
