Jealous Dubya Bush emerges a pathetic, bitter little man

No, I hadn't see this news item late last week, about George Bush suddenly not "owing" another president his "silence," in his string of lip-curling insults directed at President Trump. Guess I don't view him as worth watching much. But sure enough, he had plenty of hateful things to say about President Trump for the left-wing media, and he's the smaller for it.

Here were his three worst whoppers, as cited by Business Insider:

In an interview with the Texas Tribune's Evan Smith, Bush described how watching the January 6 attack "really disturbed" him, both then and now.

"I was sick to my stomach ... to see our nation's Capitol being stormed by hostile forces," he said.

I thought the same.

But now with the Patriot Act and some of the other crap that are a direct consequence of him, I no longer think so.

He was a “big government” Republican.

But the fact that he shot his mouth off and no one even notices says something. LOL

I am so sorry that I voted for George W. Bush and for his father. Now I realize that W. is as dumb as he looks.

I remember the UK Daily Mail wrote an article about putting GW Bush and Tony Blair on trial for aggressive war. The trial proceeded with Blair alone as a defendant as Bush was deemed “too stupid” to understand what he was doing. I think the defense would hold for practically anything this dimwit does or says.

I don't think there was dime's worth of difference between W and Gore. W Bush was, is and has always been a fake conservative.

1. The Bushes are a northeastern clan transplanted to Texas, and have never lost their northeastern elitist roots.

2. The Bush family thought they were entitled to another job as President, and so the animosity toward Trump became personal from the start, and LED in the back and forth nasty comments between them. Until that point GW had been very much the honorable former president. He lost that label when his family went after Trump because Trump “stole” the GOP nod from them.

3. Trump did not take the GOP nod from the Bushes. (a) They lost it by their own failure to match their ambitions with the desires of the GOP electorate. (b) They were never entitled to it.

Did he turn against Trump
1) due to Bush and old man GHW Bush being long time Deep State agents

2) The remarks at the 16 person GOP debates from Trump badly hurt Jeb’s little feelings and made his mommy say “get revenge, boys, if you love me at all, get revenge.” Low energy. Later, Jeb: “ C’mon folks. Clap.”

Trump’s image will go up with time, like a Reagan.

He’s dangerous to the establishment and the Democrats. That’s why all the effort to bury him politically.

Bush descended with time, as the truth came out (him signing torture memo’s and then going on TV and saying “we don’t do those things.”) and the consequences of some of his actions become apparent (Patriot Act and the inward focus of the US Intel community).

Bush will not go down as a great one. Like Kennedy who’s only claim to fame is being shot, Bush will get a spot in history because of 9-11, but not necessarily because of how well he handled it.
