LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Sen. Rand Paul is not backing down from his argument that people with immunity to COVID-19 should not have to wear masks in public.
Paul appeared at the Galt House and was in Louisville one day after clashing with infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci during a Senate hearing over the science of masks.

"If Dr. Fauci comes up with evidence that shows me that some new variant is here and thousands of people are dying and in the hospital, and the hospitals are overrun with people who have already had it or been vaccinated, then we should listen to him," Paul said.
Paul rejected the argument that -- even absent hard evidence -- people like him should wear masks as a precaution.
"I would think that, if we're going to restrict people's freedoms, that we should have some evidence that there's a problem," said Paul. "There's no evidence. I mean zero evidence."

Using the Fauci’s own logic, I aver that Fauci should not only wear a mask as a precaution against variants, but he also should stuff a mask up his rectum to cork any possibility of fowling himself and others with diarrhea caused by the so called “variants.”
Fauci is ridicullous.
One does not use such logic to sustain a removal of Constitutional freedoms of Assembly, Freedom of Travel, and Freedom of Speech from Americans.
There's no Operation Warp Speed for the virus that causes AIDs or cancer.

You have to wear two masks. One to cover your mouth so the little buggers have a harder time infecting the person in front of you.
The other straps around your ass so nobody can swab your anal zone.
Precious little hard evidence directing some CDC policy recommendations 1) Where is the hard evidence that anyone who has had and survived a COVID-19 infection is susceptible to reinfection or even infection with the variants. Why do such people require a vaccine? 2) Where is the evidence that people who have survived COVID-19 infections after two weeks continue to shed virus and are a threat to others? 3) Finally where is the evidence that fully vaccinated people are a threat to spread this virus?
Given the incredible devastating social, psychological, educational and economic consequences that the forced isolations and lockdowns have, it is incumbent for the CDC to behave as a non partisan scientific organization and stop behaving like toadies to the prevailing political narrative. It would be nice if medical journals and Academic centers lost the political kowtowing as well.
Dr. Fauci, however bright he may have once been, has been so political that his usefulness as the “nation’s expert” has long past. Wish him well but it may be time to retire.
If they’re going to report him as “Dr.” Fauci, shouldn’t the senator be addressed as Sen. Paul, MD???

Remember about a year ago when there were a few quickly buried stories about communities in the New England states that were going to start testing sewerage for COVID?

Now consider this: In many States (Pennsylvania and Ohio for sure) the mask mandates are explicit that those in restaurants MUST wear a mask INTO THE RESTROOM where of course that cloth will absorb all toilet odors and other zhit.

Then the patron MUST wear the zhit laden mask back into the restaurant so that with every exhale the patrons innocently eating pancakes can get a dose of the restroom zhit.
