Justice Clarence Thomas is the most popular Supreme Court justice among Republicans, according to a new poll released this week.
A YouGov survey found that more respondents who identify as Republicans had a favorable opinion of Thomas than felt that way about Justices Amy Coney Barrett and Brett Kavanaugh.
Thomas was rated favorably by 59 percent of Republicans, compared to 55 percent for Barrett and 53 percent for Kavanaugh.
Thomas is the longest-serving conservative, having been confirmed in 1991, and the only African American on the high court.
Kavanaugh and Barrett were both nominated by former President Trump and were confirmed in 2018 and 2020, respectively.
As it should be. Hre and Altito are the only conservatives on the court ACB is TBD.
As well he should be. Kavanaugh & Gorsuch? Twits.
Gorsuch might turn out to be ok.. the others I dunno.

I think Gorsuch has shown signs of being a strict constitutionalist which I like.
Kav and ACB - hard to judge them but its not looking good. Same as Roberts i.e Bush League Republicans!
Most of us agree, I think, nearly exactly as you said. Thomas is definitely at top.
He is a real Conservative. Gorsuch appears to be as well, a layer below.
There is something wrong with Roberts. I have thought for years he is being blackmailed. He has no business being on that court, and definitely not in that position. I don’t think that it is just that he is a liberal.

Anthony Kennedy ranked a little left of center. Disciples end up to the left of their mentor. Gorsuch and Kavanaugh are disciples of Kennedy, so they will end up to the left of him. Gorsuch particularly came from a very left-leaning background.

SCOTUS has, more then once ruled that it is ok for the state to trample on your rights because they are the all-wise state and their intentions are good.
From forced sterilization to it is ok to violate shall not be infringed to fining (sorry TAXING) you for not buying health insurance to it is ok to force you to provide a service they have repeatedly handed down rulings that are not in anyway in line with the constitution.
These are all things that should be fixed but even so called constitutional conservatives will not do it because apparently court rulings are handed down on stone tablets.
So much for the talking points on FR that Trump "kept his campaign pledge to give us pro-life originalists in the Scalia mold" and has now "cemented a conservative majority on the Supreme Court for decades to come".
I guess GOP voters aren't drinking that kool-aid anymore.
