About 1 in 5 Americans say they lost a loved one to COVID-19, according to a new poll, as Thursday marked the one-year anniversary of the pandemic.
The poll from the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research found that about 3 in 10 Americans are still worried about themselves or a family member being infected with the contagious bug.

That seems statistically unlikely.

1 in 5 is 66 million dead based on a population of 330 million. So, there’s your truth.

4 out of 5 did not.
Again, tragic yes, and due our compassion and sympathy yes, but also a reminder that for most Americans - 4 out of 5 - the “pandemic” was not a fatal event in their lives.
Yet, the tyrants wanted those 4 out 5 to panic and see themselves as massively more vulnerable than they really were.

Remember that the death stats have rolled all fatalities into C19 such as:
- Car accidents
- Heart attacks
- Cancer
- Falling off ladders (see UK)
- Flu (which supposedly disappeared last year)
- etc...
Given the above conflation, the statistic works out.

The miss leading portion of this poll explained:
1 in 5 “knows” someone.
So that would lead one to assume that out of a population of 100 people, 20 have died. That is not correct.
If 10 people are from one family, and grandma died and another 10 people in another family know an uncle who died ... you still have 20 people out of 100 (1 in 5) who know someone who died. But only 2 people actually died.
Smoke and mirrors to fuel the FUD.

you failed to consider that more than one person can lose the same loved one. Even then it seems unlikely.

Actually, 1 dead person could have been “lost” by 1-20 people. Not sure how you would really figure that out but its clearly a bogus way of reporting the statistic that is intended to provoke fear.

4 people in one family can all know the same person who died from Covid but that death counts 4 TIMES on the loved one list.
