The first comments of this thread are in jest but it’s the obvious first reaction because everyone knows that the earth’s climate (temperature in particular) are almost completely based on the Sun.
You could generate a trillion metric tons of CO2 per minute and you’d never keep our planet warm if earth was cast out of the Solar System

There is a movie about this. The whole planet has many thousands of rocket engines on one side and the entire planet is turned into a “space ship” leaving the solar system... I got about halfway through it and just got bored.

Some eggheads have wargamed this, and the consensus is/was that surface dwelling would be impossible. If the Earth kept spinning, the core could stay warm enough for us to live, but it would be absolutely nothing like what we know.
Then I wouldn’t blame the solar system one little bit; Earth isn’t all it’s cracked up to be right now.

The rotation of the Earth has absolutely nothing to do with the generation of heat in the Earth by the decay of natural radionuclides.
(Perhaps you are falsely conflating that with the maintenance of a magnetic field, which does indeed depend upon the continued existence of a liquid core in which thermal convection generates a magnetic field?)
