Politicians and prominent intellectuals say social theories from the United States on race, gender and post-colonialism are a threat to French identity and the French republic.
The threat is said to be existential. It fuels secessionism. Gnaws at national unity. Abets Islamism. Attacks France’s intellectual and cultural heritage.
The threat? “Certain social science theories entirely imported from the United States,’’ said President Emmanuel Macron.
French politicians, high-profile intellectuals and journalists are warning that progressive American ideas — specifically on race, gender, post-colonialism — are undermining their society. “There’s a battle to wage against an intellectual matrix from American universities,’’ warned Mr. Macron’s education minister.

The are a threat to any country that views them as being sound, which is pretty much the entire free world. Thus the whole world is adversely affected by them.
Those ideas are a threat to the US as well. Just as intended.
Those Muslims are probably less likely to celebrate children ‘transitioning’ and marching in pride parades than Americans.
I’m half-joking, but America in 2021 is embarrassing.
They are right. American universities, entertainment industries, and social media are exporting a particularly deadly form of neo-Marxism to the Western world. Yes, many of the ideas technically have their roots in French, British, and other European “scholarship”, but we added our own spin to it, repackaged it, and made it look cool. As a result, it’s taking over everything. Shame on us.
The French are dissing America??? Babylon HAS fallen, indeed.

American universities are toxic wastelands of Marxism. Keep your kids out of them until they are mentally prepared to do battle and economically prepared to lose that battle and still make a good life for themselves.

Let us not forget that those theories exist because of decades of cultivation of leftism in our universities, media, and entertainment. The Soviet moles used heavy propaganda to turn American minds, and the susceptible Americans, once influenced, melded the Soviet propaganda with American cultural ideals and came up with something toxic and vile. For example, the belief of most Americans that America can do anything has led to the belief that we can actually make socialism work. Another example is the belief that one can change human nature if one just imposes enough censorship, which underlies cancel culture.
And, yes, the American brand of socialism, which is a child of Soviet socialism, is a clear and present danger to all people who value freedom. Once the US falls down that slippery slope of socialist dictatorship, what happens to the other free peoples of the world? Isn't that what China is trying to achieve in order to secure world domination (New World Order)?
Nope.
The French think the big US tech companies are dictators who abuse their power to influence elections and push their own anti human agendas that nobody outside of a very small clique in the US subscribe to.
The Chinese certainly don't sunscribe to the big tech nonsense about no difference between men and women. The Chiese Government only last week started a program to make men real men again, and sop what they called the “fermentation of men”.
Actually, Macron only a few weeks ago, started cracking down hard on the muzzies.
Macron is already fed up with the politically correct crap.

Everybody is dissing the big US teach companies, including India, Burma, Uganda, Germany etc.
Today the US is more secular, globalist, has a high degree of censorship, and has a higher government share in the GDP (43%) than Russia (~36%).
