Democratic Rhode Island Gov. Gina Raimondo and Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, two of President-elect Joe Biden’s Thursday cabinet picks, have a history of advocating for gun control, a Daily Caller News Foundation review found.
Raimondo, Biden’s pick for Commerce Secretary, pushed for a package of firearms bills in February of 2019, including a so-called “assault weapons” ban, a prohibition on “high-capacity” magazines and a permanent ban on 3D-printed guns, according to WJAR.
The governor also spearheaded measures to mandate gun sellers transmit firearm purchase applications to local police departments, require safe gun storage in one’s home and prohibit the carry of loaded rifles and shotguns on public roadways, the local outlet reported.
“One year ago tomorrow, we were here at an event very much like this. We introduced a slate of common sense gun-safety legislation [that] we know would make Rhode Island safer,” Raimondo said when she introduced her gun legislation, according to the Providence Journal. “And do you know what happened with those bills? No action.”

The bill of rights was the states saying not so fast Hamilton, Madison and Jefferson. This citizen will say not so fast if the federal men show up in our states that also extend the right to protect ones life, liberty and property with extreme violence. The alternative is to run a clean administration, work on a fair economic solution to the shit the media and liberal goobers have put themselves in and pray our true enemies do not see your weakness for personal gain.

They will probably do confiscation remotely, as the do with taxes. They don’t send a “revenoor” around with a stern look and an account pad. Unless they know you’re not home, they won’t enter the premises. And if you’re not home, you’re probably at work. “Nice job you got there, hope nothin’ happens to it.”
It’s all about how far they can push and they have reason to believe they can push a lot further, and take a lot more of our liberty.
What have you got to lose, they ask themselves. Got kids? (Anything goes, if you have minor children in your castle.) Got a career you don’t want disrupted? An unblemished record somewhere? A busted tail light?

I meant to express irony/sarcasm. If you have read about what happened with Prohibition in the 1920s, you will likely know about what a tragic failure it was.
