Do current TV ads reflect the current demographics in the US? If so, over half the US couples are bi-racial or gay. I guess I just haven't been paying attention to what's going on around me. Anyone else notice this, or am I just watching different ads?
It’s almost like somebody is pushing an agenda that doesn’t have anything to do with the products in the ads.
It is rare to see mostly white people in ads anymore. It is in your face propaganda.
My 90 year old mother in law noticed that trend months ago.

It’s propaganda and pandering. One would think half the country is 90% black, there are no nuclear families left, that single dads are willing to get their fingernails painted and show their daughters how to shave their legs (girls would die first before they let their fathers show them how to shave), and that white men are always dumb and need to be “saved” by a woman or a minority.
Use Google and search “white couples”.
Then view the “images” tab.
You will overwhelmingly see interacial couples. Probably 5% of the results will show white couples, and of those, about 50% will show a white couple who are in court for committing a crime.
Every frickin ad. Print media as well. Gotta be PC. But agian, by the time the boomers figure it out, it’s too late.
It’s not just TV. It’s everywhere. Internet ads, company ads, papers, etc.
Radio is kinda good cuz we don’t have to hear about any of it. Kinda hard to seem “sensitive” while blatantly TELLING audiences you have a fag pal or spouse of another color.
Whites (60.1%) are underrepresented, Blacks (12.2%) are vastly overrepresented, and Hispanics and Asians (23.5%) are completely invisible. If an alien was watching American television, he’s conclude that half of America is Black and gay. Thank the Marxist media’s cultural engineers.
If you do, it's to offset the non-white people in the ads. First, show the white person/couple as idiots. Then show the non-white person/couple as smart.
We had the TV on a few football games during Thanksgiving week when we had out-of-state visitors. Deal lord, those commercials were brutal to watch, and they certainly weren't trying to sell their product to me or to 75+% of the country.
I’ve seen this too. My wife (who is more liberal than me) has also commented on it.
And when they do show a family that actually looks like a family playing a board game at the kitchen table, dad is always the moron who is beaten by the 12 year old daughter. But at least his name is no linger Harold or Hal as was the case in every ad about 20 years back.
I counted a couple of nights ago. Forty seven straight ads featured black people picking products including one where two black men were kissing (one put on purple lipstick prior) for a prescription product. Yes, 47. That total included a few white women and their biracial babies.

The other favorite thing that has been going on for a couple decades now, is showing all common thieves and crooks as white guys. Ads (brinks) and movies and TV shows. Never a black guy doing common thievery.
