With time running out for President Trump, attorney Sidney Powell is raising the option for the commander in chief to invoke his 2018 executive order concerning foreign interference in U.S. elections.
The order, signed by Trump on Sept. 12, 2018, states "not later than 45 days after the conclusion of a United States election, the Director of National Intelligence, in consultation with the heads of any other appropriate executive departments and agencies (agencies), shall conduct an assessment of any information indicating that a foreign government, or any person acting as an agent of or on behalf of a foreign government, has acted with the intent or purpose of interfering in that election."
Powell told the Epoch Times the evidence of foreign interference is "more than sufficient to trigger" the order, providing the president "all kinds of power ... to do everything from seize assets to freeze things, demand the impoundment of the [voting] machines."
"Under the emergency powers, he could even appoint a special prosecutor to look into this, which is exactly what needs to happen," Powell continued.
"Every machine, every voting machine in the country should be impounded right now. There's frankly more than enough criminal probable cause to justify that, for anybody who's willing to address the law and the facts purely on the basis of truth and not politics, or corporate greed, or global wealth."

Yes, he is a 40 year friend. Started out as an electrician, built his own company, serviced the braves stadium for many years. Started doing security systems about a decade ago and using AI algorithms, was installing systems that can pick out a face in a crowd of 40000, just for starters. His product caught the attention of several govt agencies years ago. He made friends with folks that provide security for those agencies, including WH.
I share your utter disgust with Trump’s seemingly inept legal team.
I’ve seen enough evidence to be convinced but cannot get over how they are incapable of assembling a winning case—before any court.
Moreover, I wish they would simply play Biteme boasting about how “He’s got the greatest election fraud organization in this country’s history!” He obviously knew he could chill in his basement because the strategically placed RATS had everything planned out ahead of time to steal the election.

Depends on whether they are making a case for a courtroom or for a backroom meeting with the CIA and other miscreants.
I still think the real fight is happening off-camera. Trump may lose, but it isn't going to be because of these silly judges and legislatures.
Nearly every case (not sure about one of the PA filings) was dismissed on procedure NOT merit. That is an important distinction. It was either filed too early, too late, wrong venue, wrong plaintiff (standing), etc.
We even had other lawyers who said, “If they would just do this..” and they did it and it was still dismissed on technicalities.
It didn’t matter, cases were filed in every manner, before certification, after certification, by every plaintiff from voters to electors to states to the president, in state courts, federal courts, appeals courts and SCOTUS.
This is not about the lawyers.

I see. I do know it took weeks for Wood to get the courts to act on his subpoena. So maybe your friend didn’t know that.
If her suit is all for getting rich for fund raising, this is a suicidal way to do it.
Disagree she has nothing ( going for the long game,) but is saying this because options no more options for now.
It seems to me more like the courts just flat-out do not WANT to see or hear the evidence, than the legal team being inept.
