The state of Ohio is placing an unofficial moratorium on capital punishment. In an interview Tuesday, Republican Gov. Mike DeWine (R) said he’s banning capital punishment until lawmakers find a more practical alternative to lethal injection. There are currently 136 inmates on death row in the state of Ohio. Twice in the past month, opponents of the death penalty have called on Ohio lawmakers to end the practice altogether.

“Kill my loved ones, my friends, my business associates, the

Sentence them to spend a winter in Cleveland.
“Firing squad.”
Right and send the bill for the bullets used to the next of kin

I spent a month there one weekend.
Let the condemned pick their own method, kinda like a menu.
Electrocution, hanging, lethal injection, firing squad, gas chamber, old age.......
The Noble Thing to do:
Put them all together and have a drone fire missiles at them. Obama employed armed drones against brown people ten of thousands of times and he was the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize.

Sounds like DeWine has a metaphorical death wish.
Unpopular opinion alert: For those of you who support capital punishment, can you name a single other country that still has capital punishment that you admire? You are judged by the company you keep, and I look at the other countries that have capital punishment and we are not in good company.
But occasionally gory. Such as when the noose decapitates the condemned.
Cheap and effective would be gassing the condemned with a cheap industrial gas like Nitro oxide, nitrogen or carbon monoxide.
There would be no pain with any of those gasses.
A small air tight room with an inlet pipe and an exhaust pipe with control valves, a couple of gas bottles and the correct regulator valve, add in the appropriate alarming gas meters for the exterior of the room.
The entire system should cost less than $100K to build maybe $50k or less to design.
Any protest that the condemned would suffer pain would be without and grounding in science.
