Unpopular opinion alert: For those of you who support capital punishment, can you name a single other country that still has capital punishment that you admire? You are judged by the company you keep, and I look at the other countries that have capital punishment and we are not in good company.

Anyone condemned to death in the USA has mandatory appeals reviews and oversight.... Last heard the average wait list for the execution is around 24 years.... Pretty good opportunity for clemency, commutation or even retrial acquittal.
