You must believe Global Cooling Global Warming Climate Change is the biggest threat to human survival and can only be curtailed by ceasing all capitalist activities.

You must believe it’s more important that all people be equal at the finish line than be equal at the starting line.

You must believe the top 20 percent of income earners who pay 95 percent of all income taxes aren’t paying their “fair share”, but the bottom 50 percent of earners who pay $0 in federal taxes and consume more government benefits are.

You must believe self-esteem is more important than actually doing something to earn it

You must believe in fiscal responsibility, but only if it means cutting the defense budget and raising taxes.

You must believe there was no art before federal funding.

You must believe conservatives are racist, but blacks and Hispanics cannot make it without your help.

You must believe guns in the hands of law-abiding Americans are more of a threat than nuclear weapons in the hands of Iran and North Korea.

You must believe the same government that pushed the “settled science” of the carb-dominated FDA food pyramid is qualified to judge the “settled science” of climate change.

You must disbelieve any news stories released by Fox News or Drudge Report but believe everything put out by Al Jazeera and state-run media in Cuba, Venezuela, and China.

You must believe that standardized tests are racist, but affirmative action and racial quota requirements are not.

You must believe that businesses create oppression but governments create prosperity.

You must believe the majority of the population disagrees with you simply because they are delusional, brainwashed, or uneducated.
You must believe in free speech unless it comes from a conservative or libertarian speaker.

You must believe that the only reason socialism hasn’t brought prosperity anytime in history is because the right people haven’t been in charge.

You must believe this list is part of a vast, right-wing conspiracy–probably funded by the Russians.

Your friend is likely a member of the government class.

There is likely no help for it, he will not change his mind, look at his sources of information. If McCain is his guiding light, he has drunk the kool-aid all the way to the bottom. There is no such thing as a McCain political movement, he will be over-run by socialism and then CCP-style communism. If it were my friend, I’d let it go, and let him go. He will go his way anyway. All you can do is protect yourself as best you can from what is coming here. I doubt voting has any meaning from here forward anyway.

It would be a wasted effort to respond. If he wanted your advice, he would have asked for it. Instead he just wanted to vent. I learned that this is true about daughters (at least mine). When they whine and moan about whatever problems they're having, they're not really interested in getting your advice on how to solve them, they just want somebody to hear them.

I was told that before providing it, ask them "are you looking for my advice?" And unless they asked for it, not to provide it. Otherwise you end up just beating your head against the wall when they don't listen to a word you said.

Two possible responses:
1. Don’t respond.
2. Explain that you think Trump was great and you are glad we don’t have troops in wars all over the world and he killed the individual mandate, he instilled prison reform and the middle east is quiet. And now we know which bathroom to use, boys who claim to be girls will not destroy girls sports, etc.

But you understand that different folks have different priorities and therefore different perspectives on every president and his accomplishments. And that should not hurt friendships.

I find it difficult to figure out why this is even relevant. We used to support this site as a source of news. It was one of the best nes aggregator sites in the web.

It has now become an echo chamber without reason, and a place where people come to rant and insult others.

It’s really a shame.

It's about corruption and collusion with foreign interests by politicians in both parties on an unimaginable level, and it's being covered up by the media-including FOX. All of these entities sold out our country.

President Trump has been working for the American people, and trying to return power to the people.
