Quick trip to SCOTUS - at least they hurried with this expected decision.

What was the basis of the law? If it was properly passed and signed by the governor, then it is legal (although it shouldn’t be constitutional, for several reasons).

the PA Supreme Court is part of the problem in PA. they started a good bit of the chaos with their alteration of the election laws passed by the legislature.

based on not filing on a timely manner. That is clearly an opinion of the court. Wonder what the Supreme court will say?

The Pennsylvania Court of Supreme Whim said in its ruling that although the mail in ballot law says otherwise , they , in their infinite wisdom, shall ignore the law because of the China Virus.

Expect no justice for Republicans from courts that change the law as they go to favor Democrats, courts that have never applied original intent.

I told you the PA Supreme Court is a left wing joke.. just like FL Supreme Court in 2000

You will never get remedy in the PA court system on these things.

Only in federal court can you.

Interesting. As the case was clear that it had merit. Partisan courts are a threat to our republic and to the state legislature. The PA constitution is quite clear on when absentee ballots are permitted. It is also clear on how to change that. The order in question did not meet those standards at all.

One of the ironies of the judge's initial ruling was the implicit presumption that the state legislature's power to decide how electors are chosen isn't plenary after all. She says the state constitution overrides the legislature.

How many people here were rooting for her position and at the same time saying the PA legislature should ignore the state constitution and just choose their own slate of electors?

Any changes to the PA Constitution requires a referendum by the people. It also requires approval by two consecutive legislatures.

The PA court is utterly corrupt. The Rats were able to take complete control of the court in 2014 (with the help of Soros) when Corbet was kicked out due to his increasing the state gasoline tax (highest in the nation) to fund mass transit (and the Philadelphia unions, of course).

The incident with the Penn State pedophile coach that raped little boys did not help matters either. Corbet was Governor at the time.

PA SC judges get elected to 10 year terms. We are stuck with them for at least 4 more years.

I hope this just finishes the deal with the GOP Legislature to send their one EC Electors clearly seeing that every PA Democrat is hell bent for an unfair and stupid unjust election steal, from the Union Slugs in Philly right up to the Democrats on their Supreme Court.

This case was thrown out on the 21st this month for lack of standing (PA supreme court is third court this case as seen.) Notice the latest they didn't use that argument. Interesting to say the least.

I remember when vagrancy was a crime - until the federal courts threw such laws out be they state or local.

The idea that state laws are not subject to federal court review is nonsense.
