If I understand the facts of this correctly, then the Federal courts aren’t likely to touch it. I’m pretty sure the legal challenge was based on the Pennsylvania constitution, so I don’t see a clear role for the Federal courts here.

On to the Federal Supreme Court.
This is a case about a state law, for elections controlled by the state, the end result being electors from the state being appointed, challenged based on the state constitution.
There is no federal question here. This is 100% a state issue. The PA supreme court is as high as it goes.
This case is dead.
