CNN will be sold to Amazon soon and Bezos will fire 50% of CNN employees.

Fox was always a milquetoast and just slightly right of the other rabid cable TV networks.

The only real conservatives seemed to be Carslon and Ingraham.

Who cares. Fox is not on my radar anymore. I also don’t think about what’s going on at CNN or NBC. Why should I, they’re all boring liberals who have no relevance for me.

All the cable news programs are down since the election. Hannity and Carlson were still the 2 highest rated shows.

Are they really down or did they just go back to pre-election hysteria?

I wonder that too. Perhaps the only way to tell is against the same week a year ago.

This is a post election vs post election comparison. It’s bad news for Fox and their employees.

That’s a drop compared to commercial revenues.

They’re getting crushed

The only way to “fix” FOX is to remove the Murdoch boys, their wives, and Paul Ryan from any involvement or financial interest in FOX.

Kathryn Murdoch was a big Biden contributor and publicly celebrated Biden's faux win.

FOX News is now a dumpster fire along with the rest of the corrupt, partisan media. No different than CNN.

Fox News makes $1.4 billion in ad revenue and $1.6 billion in cable fee revenue annually. Any % dip is real money to them.

Re: if you do not watch they still get a subscriber fee.

That has changed a lot in the last decade.

ESPN channels get the lion's share of standard cable subscriber fees - if any fees are even distributed.

Many of the channels on standard cable actually have to pay the cable provider just to get on the system.

Does Fox News currently get a share of subscriber fees?

I do not know.

However, large parts of the Fox News line up have also been completely abandoned by major advertising sponsors.

Tucker Carlson, Hannity, and Laura Ingraham have probably been money losers for Fox for all of 2020.

The only ads I see on those three shows are the Pillow Guy, Prayer.com, public service ads, and ads for other Fox News shows or Fox News products.

It’s been a few years since I left most pro sports, several months since swearing off NASCAR and I left FOX before election night was done. It would take a miracle for me to return to these entities.

How about, just don’t watch it. Apparently they can tell.

Cable ratings are fairly easy. Cable systems monitor THEIR BOXES and KNOW what's on in your home at ALL hours of the day and night.

Simply put: Every single cable box is connected to and monitored by every cable system. They not only know WHAT your watching but WHEN you're NOT watching and your box is off.

People upload his show to youtube every night. However, you need to watch fairly soon as youtube pulls them by morning.
