Class A shares of Fox News parent-company Fox Corp. dropped as much as 6% on Thursday as President Donald Trump retweeted support for its rival right-leaning news networks Newsmax and OANN.
Some of Trump's Thursday retweets include: "#FoxNews is dead," "Fox has been completely unfair and untruthful. Moving to Newsmax," and "Newsmax and Oann are great alternatives [to Fox News]."
Those retweets were then followed up by a direct message from Trump, who tweeted, ".@FoxNews daytime ratings have completely collapsed. Weekend daytime even WORSE. Very sad to watch this happen, but they forgot what made them successful, what got them there. They forgot the Golden Goose. The biggest difference between the 2016 Election, and 2020, was @FoxNews!"

Once Trump wins re-election, I hope he tweets that he’s closing his Twitter account and moving to Parler…. That would take the next Tech giant down

Those good guys on Fox need to leave. There is always a contract vehicle to move from Fox. Use it. We’re not coming back to Fox for any reason.

Does this mean that the White House press corp will allow OAN and Newsmax front row seats during press briefings? I would love to see FNC reporter John Roberts replaced by OAN reporter Chanel Rion.
I can tell you what the message is in the shareholder meeting right now without even being there.
Its something along the lines of “Don’t worry, the suckers just went through a tough election and the are pissed off at us. Don’t worry, they’ll all be back by Christmas.”

Has more to do with ratings dropping 30-50% on their programs. Trump didn’t do that.
