(video lasts about 20 minutes)
"This is going to the Supreme Court where they will rule the election is invalid due to fraud or mistakes on a country wide scale. It will go one of two ways, either they will rule that all the unconstitutional mail in ballots will be removed and the states ordered to recount without them or they will simply rule the election is invalid due to mass voter fraud and at that point it will be sent to the congress and senate for a vote.
This is where it gets good. The House/Congress votes on who the President will be. It has nothing to do with what party that has power. Every state gets one vote and 30 states are held by Republicans / 19 by Democrats.
They have to vote down party lines, they have no choice due to the 12th Amendment of the Constitution and the Senate votes for the Vice President where a similar event will take place. This is The Law. This is why the Democrats are so mad at Nancy Pelosi. This will happen in January. The only way President Trump wont be president is if he concedes the election and that will never happen.
So stop watching the fake news and dont let your heart be troubled and live your life knowing this will all work out. Another fun fact is when they called Gore the President elect back in 2000 until the courts ruled against him and declared Bush the winner the two people that were part of that decision was none other than new Supreme Court Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett. Why do you think the Democrats tried so hard to keep them from being confirmed."
Oh I am praying, praying for this
I agree, BUT does anyone know if the scenario described in the comments is accurate?
Thanks for this.
It would be great if this comes to pass, but seem like speculation at this point.
A contingent election!
This will push the election to House where republicans have a 26-24 majority.
You are talking about state governors, not House reps.
So which is the one vote per state?
Congress votes based on the governor of each states political party?
And if dems take the Senate then Harris will be Trump's Veep.
I SO hope you’re right.
Seems WI would also do this
GA if the evidence forces them ( Gov and LtGov are wimping)
The way I understand it is that the state members in the House gather together by state and vote.
For example New York has more Democrat House members than Republican ones, so when they vote it will be for Biden.
Texas has more Republican House members, so they will vote Trump.
There are more Republican states than Democrat ones in this scenario, so Trump wins assuming no defections.
PS proud American in Canada: I am the same. Was in the US 40 years, then got married to a Canadian. Been here since 2003. Still hold my US citizenship.
Wow, some action finally. The path you describe, if it goes that way, will be historic and ugly, but it does describe where we have allowed ourselves as a nation to get to.
True, the Repubs would have to hold steady and stay in line with their vot.
Yes, historic and ugly, but also constitutional. ;-)
I was thinking that contingent elections could only happen where neither side could get to 270 (e.g in a “Faithless Electors” scenario).
If the fake ballots in PA can’t be disambiguated then SCOTUS could very well *invalidate* PA. Which is 20 EV.
Which - yes, depending on other recounts - could lead to a scenario where nobody had 270. And so - a contingent election.
Not sure, maybe “The Great One” will make an appearance on this thread to clear that matter up.
"The Trump administration has MAJOR DIRT incoming
Biden celebrated prematurely!!!!"
You're almost right - close, but, as Bill would say, no cigar.
In order for the House to elect the President, the Special Joint Session of Congress on January 6 must first count the Electoral votes and certify that no one has a majority.
In the Special Joint Session, they DON'T vote by States, every Member and every Senator has one vote.
The votes in the Special Joint Session (presuming straight party line voting, we know Romney will vote for Biden) would be 50 + 223 Democrats and 50 + 213 Republicans, so all Electoral Vote challenges will be ruled in Biden's favor.
Once the Special Joint Session gives him 270, the House is out of the picture because a President will have been elected.
The above analysis presumes that the Democrats will steal both Georgia Senate seats.
