The one bright star in the election.

whew...no expanding the Supreme Court.

No radical replacements for Breyer if the Republicans will just stand up and say no.

“I guess that means no expanding the Supreme Court.”

Yep, that was our firewall, and hopefully it holds. Not only does it protect the Courts, it also means that the Democrats will still have to deal with the filibuster...meaning that the Demos will need to round up 60 votes to move anything.

Thank God that our RINOs won (probably), or this country would have been destroyed in less than two years.

And no two more states.

So I guess the lesson here is that sometimes even the generally useless RINOs are good for something.

For sure. Susan Collins has her issues, but she’s light years better than that screaming banshee leftist kook that would have replaced her.

If Biden ends up getting seated as President, McConnell should just flat-out tell him that none of his nominations will be approved because Biden is a national security risk and a senile old retardate. Force Biden to operate with all of Trump’s cabinet members while his nominations are delayed for years, and let the Supreme Court pile up 2-3 vacancies if necessary.

One positive. If Biden does end up being sworn in, his legislative agenda can be stopped if McConnell can keep his caucus in line. And Biden’s judicial nominations should get plenty of scrutiny.

I agree. Mitch McConnell may be the only check on Democrats' totalitarian state.

well, if sports grind entertainment says so, it must be true.

collins just fell under 50%, which sets off a bunch of “ranked choice” processes that are sure to run against us. perdue needs to stay above 50% to stay out of a runoff. a lot of the early vote in NC came in before we found out that cunningham was a scumbag.

we may be about to flip one in MI, but it’s hard to beat the other party, and the people counting the votes.

just not a done deal, despite whatever the golf analyst for sports grind entertainment has to say.

Plenty of bright stars for Republicans in this election, even if Trump loses (and he may still win). We picked up seats in the House and did very well at the state level. The latter is critical, because we’ll have the advantage in redistricting after the census.

TREMENDOUS idea. If only...

Though Bad news for 2022,

This is the Senate Election Map for 2022

Arizona is now Blue and Hopefully Georgia will go Red in this map

If someone other than McSally runs we might be able to take Arizona back, but other than that there's not much for us while the Democrats have good shots at a few Republican state (Wis, Penn, maybe Oh & Florida & NC)

Also, less likely for gun control or tax increases to pass.
