Republican pollster Frank Luntz told Fox News’ Bret Baier on Thursday night, that his "profession is done" if President Trump wins re-election come Nov. 3, and proves the national polls wrong yet again.
“I hate to acknowledge it, because that's my industry — at least partially — but the public will have no faith. No confidence. Right now, the biggest issue is the trust deficit,” Luntz said in response to Baier asking how pollsters will fare if they are wrong in predicting the 2020 presidential election. “Pollsters did not do a good job in 2016. So, if Donald Trump surprises people, if Joe Biden had a 5- or 6-point lead, my profession is done."
National polls largely show Biden with a lead over Trump with two weeks until the presidential election.
Real Clear Politics, which pools together several national polls and takes the average, shows Biden up by 7.9 points, though in battleground states the former vice president is only up by 3.8 points – well within margin of error, which generally hovers around plus or minus four points.
Hillary Clinton was projected to win in 2016, with polling consistently similar to Biden’s.
FiveThirtyEight’s election project gave Clinton an 86 percent chance of winning during this point in the last presidential race. Biden is currently projected to win with an 88 percent probability.
Still, some polls appear to show a tighter race in their polling this time around.
The New York Times projected Clinton had a 91 percent chance of beating Trump two weeks prior to the 2016 election, but the Times is only projecting that Biden has a 50 percent chance of beating Trump.
But Luntz, a GOP pollster, still thinks that Biden will win the presidency after claiming that Trump won the second and final presidential debate Thursday.

But, they did exactly what they felt they needed to do to get Hillary the win. They knew what they were doing. It just gets comparatively harder every 4 years as the Public slowly wises up to their game. All the (boss) pollsters do is go into the back room, and run their programmed random number generator algorithms so they can “find” the result of their workers phone calls.
It's been 'done'. The truth is crucified at the place of the poll.

Frank Luntz is the brains behind all of the Fox News Polls. He is a fraud and his polls are only useful for starting a dumpster fire.
He thinks we have confidence in polls now? Maybe he should take a poll on that.

As long as one side berates, shouts at, insults, demeans, attacks, un-friends, threatens, bullys, and rants at the other side, it’s unlikely any polling company will ever do well in the future.
But that said, something needs to be done to stop the behavior above or there’ll be worse problems than inaccurate polling to deal with...

Luntz has nothing to worry about ... no one trusts him now... he’s just a political hack.
He’s just trying to provide evidence on November 4th that he attempted to be objective. I can see right through this.
Trafalger’s Cahley was on Larry O’Connor’s show yesterday. They have found a way to factor in the silent vote. I think other pollsters just don’t want to believe it elexisis.
