South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham has opened up a lead over Jaime Harrison following the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, becoming one of a handful of Republican incumbents to see his standing improve amid the fight over appointing a new justice to the high court.
New Morning Consult Political Intelligence tracking conducted Oct. 2-11 found Graham leads his Democratic opponent by 6 percentage points, 48 percent to 42 percent, among 903 likely voters in South Carolina a notable improvement from his margins over the past few months, when he was either trailing or tied with his well-funded challenger. The latest poll has a margin of error of 3 points.

Republican Sens. David Perdue of Georgia, John Cornyn of Texas have also improved their standing since Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died on Sept. 18.
Meanwhile, Democrats have expanded their lead in Colorado, and maintain the upper hand in Arizona, Michigan and North Carolina.

Graham has his silly moments, but he's pretty reliable in the big fights. It seems he doesn't much care for Trump, but he must really hate the Democrats. He's a lot like McConnell in that regard.
Graham was just fine with Hillary picking Ginsburg’s successor. He didn’t lift a finger to help POTUS win and proudly boasted he did not vote for President Trump. Those are the facts. Sorry.
a truism that should only be placed into practice once there are a minimum of 61 Republicans in the Senate
A black Democrat candidate going up against a white Republican in the deep south, where party votes are polarized by race? Cunningham could have 10x Graham’s funding, and he’d still lose. Problem for Dems in SC is the black candidate will always have a huge leg up on the Dem nomination, since blacks are a super-majority of the Democrat primary vote.
Should read Hilary lost.
Lindsey was never in danger of losing this seat. The Democrats are going to get utterly destroyed in SC and lose 2 to 3 house seats.
LOL. Graham did not vote for Trump. Therefore, he supported Hillary and whatever she would have done as POTUS. Those are the facts.
He would never in a million years kept his Senate chairmanship had he been a Democrat and not supported the ticket.
If Tillis ends up losing, Democrats have cheated.
ELI YOKLEY, that was one of the poorest opening sentences I have ever read. Learn how to write.
Have to been to SC lately? There is no longer such as thing as the “Deep South.” That has been consigned to history due to a changing population. NC is a purple state now and SC will be soon.
I hope Lindsay makes it across the finish line, but no way would I send $ to him, Collins or the Murk.
Or Senator Beto O’Rourke
Until it swings the majority
I have had major probs with ole Lindsay, but can you imagine anyone else exploding like that at the Kavanaugh confirmation hearing??? It was his greatest moment, and right on target.
Still spewing out fiction and fake news huh?
Reality:
Sen. Lindsey Graham: ‘I voted Evan McMullin for president’ -
Lindsey Graham (LindseyGrahamSC) November 8, 2016. Voting for Hillary Clinton was always a non-starter .
I still don’t miss John McCain.
I hope Collins slides downhill.
Plz he will win by 10 pts
