Kenosha, Wisconsin exploded in violence on Sunday evening when a black man named Jacob Blake was shot in the back seven times by a police officer after he refused an order to stop, and attempted to gain entry into a vehicle.
On Monday, the Green Bay Packers, headquartered roughly 150 miles away from Kenosha, issued a statement saying they were “shocked” by the video of the shooting. The team also, despite acknowledging that a full investigation has barely even begun, used the incident to blast “systemic racism” and “injustices against black people.”
“The Packers organization was shocked to see the video that showed police shooting Jacob Blake multiple times in the back,” the Packers stated. “We are hopeful Jacob makes a full recovery, and our thoughts are with his family.
“While we understand a full investigation of this terrible incident will take place, we are deeply troubled at what again has become a painful example of the significant challenges we face with respect to police brutality, systemic racism and injustices against Black people. We continue to call for meaningful dialogue to affect the needed change we all desire.”
Packers coach Matt LaFleur told reporters that he sees the shooting as a reminder to spread “awareness to everybody that Black lives matter.”

Why are the police silent again on this thing.
Did he have a knife, or did he not? Was there a gun in the car or was there not.
The police have these answers, provide them immediately. Your silence is making the situation worse.

As a lifetime fan, I cannot even stomach thinking about these jerkoffs any more. The organizations themselves and Goddell are tripping over themselves to see who can act like a bigger moron. Then, there are the players.
As a lifelong Packers fan they’re making me lose interest.
They should stick to thugball and let the police be the police.
IF it weren’t for the “ball”, most of these POS would be dressed in prison orange picking up trash for us along the highways and byways of America.
How do the Packers, or anyone, know that racism was a factor?

‘systemic’ stupidity has overwhelmed the mobs. The evidence is clear on that.
As for the NFL, just hike the ball and quit the politics or lose your grubwagon and free ride on our dime.
Liberals own the TV media, social media, large corporations, magazines, public school system and Colleges. If racism is systemic, then the liberals are to blame.
How about they call out the stupidity of resisting arrest, or minimally not cooperating with police? That the police were responding to a call for help, and impeding service of that request helped no one.
The only thing systemic is 13% of the population creates over 50% of the violent crime.
I smell a rat in this shooting (and most others). I’ll wait for ALL the facts.
Say nothing for 30 days because you need all the facts.
Hopefully soon you will be changing the “making me lose interest” to “i’ve lost interest”.
