It turns out, four days of a Zoom/telethon-type of convention did not do any polling favors for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.
Presidential candidates and incumbents typically enjoy a five point post-convention bounce, according to Gallup, which is an “expected and anticipated part of each presidential campaign.”
But not for Joe.

Yep. I didn’t watch one second of it but read a lot of articles on it and every single speaker beat the “he sucks” drum.
Nope. Biden’s obvious poor mental faculties and the fact Kamala Harris has turned off many Democratic voters is not helping the Biden campaign.
We shouldn’t laugh, Trump may not get much of a bounce either. Nobody likes this convention format.
Is it going to be pretty much the same style? I would hope that the President can figure out a way to speak to people live. To me that was the dynamic that was missed the most. There is no energy to a Zoom call.

It’s a strange article to make this case using two polls that show Biden with a double digit lead and being over 50%.

Yep, but if they can ballot harvest the swing states with massive mail-in ballots they are in the game.
I saw an ad for Biden over the weekend. The final image was of him and Kamala standing there in masks. Hard to believe that was the last image they wanted us to see.
The Democrat convention was depressing and boring.
And some of the inteludes, such as that girl singer with dyed yellow and black hair, telling us to vote for Biden because our lives depend on it, speaking in a monotone voice, hardly helped spread the Democrat message. If anything, the extreme appearance of people such as her turned off “middle America”.
Middle America could have gotten the impression that a variety of misfits and social dropouts comprise the Democrat party.

No doubt. I also won’t be surprised that Biden/DNC will have a “Toricelli” moment, and will exit from the race when polling becomes dismal.

There seems to be a refusal in certain political circles known as the Swamp to blame the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) for deliberately using the Wuhan virus to create an economy here which would prevent Trump get reelected. Democrats weren’t happy with his votes against abortion and on being the only democrat to vote NO on allowing men to to call themselves a women and compete with women in college sports.
Those who live in Chicago already voted at their local public library. But in the reshaped 3rd Congressional district Daniel Lipinski lost because of redistricting. Which had previously included adjacent Chicago city wards to his 23rd in a district that dealt exclusively with city issues such as a subway L service and the Stevenson Expressway Wards which were reliable Dan’s father William O Lipinski supporters. But since most had areas with hispanic last names those areas were redistricted and assigned to Gutieriez’s district. Those results are posted below which actually tear up the concept of a neighborhood and pit people against each other by using division.
