Five countries that could be next to make peace with Israel

In the wake of the normalization of relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, there are rumors that several other states could be next to sign an agreement with Israel. While there are hurdles to normalizing relations with some states in the Middle East, there are others who view the UAE decision as a trial balloon and will react positively based on how the next weeks and months play out between Jerusalem and Abu Dhabi. What follows is a list of some countries that reports suggest may be in line to normalize relations.

Bahrain Bahrain was long thought to be the first country in the Gulf that might normalize relations with Israel. The small kingdom has often made relatively positive comments about Israel over the years and appeared open to the Trump administration’s “Deal of the Century” by hosting discussions about the economic aspects of it. Bahrain has welcomed the UAE deal with Israel, and initial reports indicated it was working on normalizing relations after the UAE. Last December, media reports in the Gulf noted that Bahrain was reaching out to Israel.

If Biteme wins, the war starts here on our shores.

Wonder if that might be the reason America isn't specifically referred to in end-times Bible prophecy, especially with regard to coming to the aid of Israel? Don't get me wrong -- I do NOT think Dementia Joe has any chance of winning. But I do have a sinking feeling that no matter WHO wins in Nov., America may be too busy dealing with her own internal war to be able to aid Israel or anyone else.

My dad was a member of the Rockland County, NY Republican Commitee. The head of the committee, who was Jewish himself said it best, we embrace those who screw us and screw those who embrace us. To me it’s, at best a terribly misguided way of ending the hate when in reality the cure is worse than the disease.

‘Modern Orthodox’ (Orthodox Union) mostly support Dems like the non-religious. ‘Young Israel’ is the most conservative of the Modern Orthodox.

Agudath Israel and hassidic Jews are the most conservative, but they are not a large percentage of Jews. Only 10% or so of Jews are Orthodox of any kind, and Agudath and hassidim are a minority of that.

Hard to imagine the Jewish vote mattering outside of Florida anyway. There are far more non-voting self-described Christians.

They have been blind and deaf since Acts 28:25-29. God will give them back their sight and hearing when “the fullness of the Gentiles be come in” (Rom.11:25-27), the Church the Body of Christ, the dispensation of the GRACE of God. When the Body is complete it will be taken and God will restore Israel’s sight: The Tribulation.

(1 Thessalonians 2-4 The Day of the Lord)
2For you are fully aware that the Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3While people are saying, “Peace and security,” destruction will come upon them suddenly, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 4But you, brothers, are not in the darkness so that this day should overtake you like a thief.…

Qatar tried to cultivate pro-Israel supporters after a crisis developed between it and Saudi Arabia and the UAE in 2017... It provided cash for Gaza and kept Hamas afloat, part of a long-running attempt to be the paymaster for the Muslim Brotherhood across the region... The 40-year-old leader came to power in 2013. Qatar had helped fuel the Arab Spring and used Al Jazeera to fan protests across the region to gain influence. However, it saw many of these protests fail and regimes defeat Qatar-backed candidates. More isolated now, Qatar has Turkish troops in Doha after the 2017 crisis with Riyadh. That means it must rely on Turkey, which, except for Iran, is the most hostile regime in the region to Israel. Qatar is also close to Tehran. This means whatever feelers Qatar once had for peace, and even attempts to cultivate pro-Israel voices through junkets to Doha, are largely on ice.

I’m guessing Russia’s a swing - they’ll stay neutral or stand with us. Germany will likely go with Iran and China.

Trump’s the only person who can defuse this ...pray democrats can’t pull off the fraud they need.

Bahrain and Oman get mentioned a lot.

I view Bahrain as a stalking horse for the Saudis to test the water - Bahrain is too dependent on Saudi support to get out on their own in foreign policy. Oman has long been more independent, and willing to get along with everyone - they are tight with the Brits and USA, but get along with Iran as well.

Saudi Arabia would be a tectonic shift - truly historic, and a major long term source of funding. Kuwait would likely fall in as well, if the Saudis take the plunge. The Saudi/Israeli Peace Deal might really be the crux of the issue, long term.

Qatar would be a tectonic shift. Peace with Israel might be part of a bigger deal to distance themselves from terrorist funding and the Muslim Brotherhood (and thereby, Turkey). Such a deal would likely be part of a larger reconciliation of Qatar with Saudi Arabia (and the USA under Trump). The conflict with the Saudis has really put pressure on Qatar, even if it can’t bring them to their knees, it may not be where they want to be, long term.

“Hard to imagine the Jewish vote mattering outside of Florida anyway.”

There is also President Trump’s home state of New York, which his campaign says they will be contesting this cycle.

Beyond the votes, contributions might be swayed (even if just to hold back from the Dems, and plead COVID pressures), as well as the commentary of influential thought leaders.

Bahrain has had Jews since the 1800s, living peacefully.

They even had a Jewish businessman, Ebrahim Daoud Nonoo who sat on the appointed upper house of the Bahraini Parliament's Shura Council. In 2005, he was replaced by his niece, Houda Ezra Nonoo. Since 2004, Ms. Nonoo also headed the Bahrain Human Rights Watch Society

In 2008, Bahrain's king nominated Houda Nonoo, a Jewish woman who served in the nation's 40-member upper house of Parliament, as its ambassador to the United States

If Iran attacks - it would attack the UAE and Saudia, probably Bahrain (which is a Saudi satellite).

Oman - it’s always played a balancing act

Which Arab countries currently have “normalized” relations with Israel?

Egypt —> they have had full diplomatic relations were established on January 26, 1980, and the formal exchange of ambassadors took place one month later, on February 26, 1980, with Eliyahu Ben-Elissar serving as the first Israeli Ambassador to Egypt, and Saad Mortada as the first Egyptian Ambassador to Israel. Egypt has an embassy in Tel Aviv and a consulate in Eilat. Israel has an embassy in Cairo and a consulate in Alexandria.

Jordan - the relationship is regulated by the Israel–Jordan peace treaty in 1994, which formally ended the state of war that had existed between the two countries since the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948, and also established diplomatic relations, besides other matters.

The Arabs have given up fighting with Israel since the 1980s as they see a resurgent Iran as the real threat to them and also lately the Muslim Brotherhood

Your interpretation of Ezekiel 38 is wrong.

Firstly - Ezekiel describes events in symbolic terms - the allied nations are depicted as coming from the four quarters of the globe. Persia (see Ezekiel 27:10), from the east; Ethiopia (see Ezekiel 30:5), or Gush (Genesis 10:6), from the south; Libya, or Phut (see Ezekiel 27:10; Ezekiel 30:5), from the west; and Gomer (see Genesis 10:2, 3; 1 Chronicles 1:5) from the north

These are symbolic, not actual.

And the timing was Babylonian exile - talking of the destruction of Judea through the BAbylonians.

The countries referred to are just euphemisms for all countries of that time (600 BC)
