Sounds like a dreadful way to live. I don’t have the diabetes but if someone did, that’d be just a not fun diet.

I see they sell Kasundi on Amazon too. It's an acquired taste and not everyone is going to like it. Not at first.

Oats “low on the glycemic index”?

The author is either ignorant or deliberately lying.

At 55 oats rates above orange juice and apple juice, only 10 points below pure sucrose.

These aren't foods that reduce blood sugar levels. They are foods the will raise blood sugar levels if you eat them instead of other foods that will do so even more.

If you really want to reduce blood sugar levels then don't eat food that raise blood sugar, including a number of the ones on this list.

When I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes ,and was having trouble maintaining an acceptable sugar level, my sister , who had been a middle school science teacher , told me, “don’t eat anything white, except cauliflower.”

Beans with bacon
Garlic flavored bacon
Avocado and bacon on a club sandwich
Onion (grilled) and bacon on a burger
Salmon wrapped in bacon
Oats - Oatmeal with butter, maple syrup, and bacon bits
Nuts - Peanut butter and bacon sandwich
Quinoa - I got nothing!

There FIXED IT!

"Chicken Wings are the answer"

Yeah, but bones or no bones?
Battered or not battered?
BBQ, Spicy, or Habanero Hot?

And then there are the purists who will only have them one way and the ecumenical that are open to various forms.

No easy answers in this world, but a great time figuring out which one is the correct one.
