At 55 oats rates above orange juice and apple juice, only 10 points below pure sucrose.
If you really want to reduce blood sugar levels then don't eat food that raise blood sugar, including a number of the ones on this list.
When I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes ,and was having trouble maintaining an acceptable sugar level, my sister , who had been a middle school science teacher , told me, “don’t eat anything white, except cauliflower.”
edit: “They are foods the will raise blood sugar levels LESS if you eat them instead of other foods that will do so even more.”
