Democratic convention lineup to include Ocasio-Cortez, Clinton, Warren: reports

The speaking lineup for this month's Democratic National Convention is beginning to take form, with several high-profile Democrats securing spots.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), a progressive superstar, is expected to have some sort of speaking slot, a House member told Politico, and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and 2016 presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will also speak, according to Axios.

Warren and Clinton are reportedly slated to speak on Aug. 19, the day before former Vice President Joe Biden will formally accept the 2020 Democratic nomination.

Other Democrats expected to have speaking slots are Biden's wife, Jill Biden, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) and Barack and Michelle Obama.

Warren is seen by some liberals as a great candidate but her prez campaign fizzled—grating voice, “shrill harridan”. Came in third in “home state” of Mass.

While saying she was a “person of color”
she is very very white, in a year when a minority/black is most desirable for the Dems. 2016 was to be the year they broke
the glass ceiling and elected the first female President.Given the odds of a President Biden dying or resigning in office, they aim to get a female POTUS
