He lost me right there. Losing to win is something that Rush Limbaugh has discussed numerous times and it is a faulty premise and a non-starter. If you lose something to the Left, you don’t get it back...their swamp unelected army ensures this. Imagine is President Trump had not won the last election. Would ever have been. Another election?
Just because somebody wrote it doesn’t mean it’s great. Sure he made some interesting points however I would still put Carlos Osweda’s intellect and his understanding of the pulse of the left and right and what PDJT has in his arsenal over this guy. It is important to use the correct definition of the term Civil War, as well.

this author makes some great points, and I fear the terrible bleakness of the picture he paints, the way rational people must have feared the onset of the first Civil War; my question, however, is what does he mean by ‘war’ when he says it will be triggered; obviously standing armies in the field whaling away at each other is not happening...I wish he had expounded on the means of the ‘war’ of which he so brilliantly speaks...

First it takes people on the right doing something more (short of the shooting war they think will solve all their problems) than sitting on their butts, not engaging in politics from the local level on up, and otherwise hoping that Jesus is going to run in at the last minute to spare them having to make an effort.
Our side too often wants fast and simplistic solutions that require no personal effort, or at least effort they wont have to personally make, and this civil war fetish is just another example. Most of these people cant even attend a school board meeting, or even maintain a frigging boycott of the NFL, but they are going to be in a war? Please.
Troubling times are ahead, no doubt. But his predictions of the way things will evolve are way off. First, a Bible believing Christian who has read the book of Daniel knows God is in control of true nations, and the entire Bible speaks of His plan for the fate of our species. That won’t be decided by globalist bogeymen.
Second, a conservative migration to create a Constitutional utopia is unlikely. Migrate en masse to where? Set up a strong and productive society with what assets, what industry, what markets? How are we going to keep the leftist CEOs and financiers and market middlemen out? How do you test for and enforce that short of totalitarianism?
Third, in the event of a civil war, it won’t be just political left vs. right. It will also be racial in some places. opportunists will rush in. Numerous enemies covet our territory, from Mexico to China. There will be enemies on every side, and it won’t be tidy and clear.
Again, this is from a biblical world view, but God’s word is clear about what he considers an “abomination”, and this country is full of them— from rampant homosexuality to the death of more than 70million babies and counting. Like Assyria in Nahum, the US is due for a reckoning. Some belief the middle chapters of the apocryphal book of Revelation refer to a pattern of judgement on a nation to weaken it in stages prior to destruction: disease, natural disasters, economic ruin, internal wars, external invasion. In the middle of that process, there is this chilling verse which at once shows God’s attempts to get people to change before it’s too late: “But still they did not cease from their idolatry and their killing.”
And for this we need to be prepared while we still have the opportunity.
