You need to think in terms of what God has revealed about Himself: He sees the big picture with endless moving parts that we can’t; He is patient, to an extent; and He is not bound by time, which He created, as we are. He gave bloody Assyria 100 years. He gave Canaan 400 “until their evil was full.” He judges in His time. America may be due, and what makes you think we’d be alone in that?

I always wondered how God could justify the wrath against the world (didn’t seem that bad to me growing up). But then I did a word study to find out how God feels about child sacrifice (today’s pre-born genocide).
Well, on the national level, God does not forgive legalized child sacrifice. There is a reprieve with overturning the law but otherwise, the consequence is invasion and conquest. On His time line.
