With the November election fewer than four months away and the number of coronavirus cases again surging in the United States, former vice president Joe Biden is preparing for a range of realities when it comes to dealing with the virus if he is elected president, according to an official.
"I would say the vice president and the team are working through multiple scenarios. One of those scenarios would involve the existence of a vaccine, in which case, one of the biggest tasks would be the broad-based manufacture and equitable distribution of that vaccine which is an enormous logistical challenge," the official said on a call Tuesday morning.
When asked if Biden’s Public Health advisery Board had advised the former vice president on the likelihood of a vaccine being widely available for distribution by the time he would potentially take office, the official cautioned there is no guarantee that will be the case.
"They've advised the vice president that you know there have been encouraging signs around some of the candidate vaccines but that nothing is a sure thing and that we can't count on that," the official said.
"So we have to make provision for there being a vaccine and do the heavy lifting of what it's going to take once it's identified to get it to everyone, and we also have to make provision for there not being a vaccine and to have to live in a world where we're still trying to get the pandemic under control," the official added.

Of course not. The whole "waiting for a vaccine" business was just another stalling tactic to make the "crisis" last until at least November.
Anyone who doesn't understand by now that the liberal / communist front and the media has been jacking America around need only look at their complete approval of mass protests and riots and then -- when the protests and riots began to wane -- returning to the scare stories of March and demanding that EVERYONE suddenly must wear a mask EVERYWHERE (the world looks so much more scary when everywhere you turn you see a hospital ward).

Correct. This is Covid-19. Is there a vaccine for Covid-1 thru -18? No. There isn’t. Protecting the vulnerable and allowing herd immunity for the rest will stop this version as well. Followed by, the inevitable weakening of the strain over time. As with the previous 18 versions.

If the recent spike in positive cases does not turn that graph around in a week or so, this nightmare is over.
And in the coming months it's only going to get worse. The brain damage and cognitive damage caused by dementia is irreversible.
Both of my grandparents on my dad’s side got dementia. I didn’t go see my grandmother because I knew I couldn’t handle “who are you?”
I went to see my grandfather on Thanksgiving, but he didn’t know who I was. After I walked out of the cafeteria I started crying.

FYI- The ‘19’ in COVID-19 refers to the year 2019, the year in which it first was detected, and not to the 19th. There weren’t 18 prior versions. This virus is the 2nd SARS variant.
The day the woman who gave you life, bought you into the world and raised you looks into your eyes and has absolutely NO idea who you are is the most heart breaking thing anyone can go through. My sympathies to you. I miss my mother every day. My father died two years ago this month. I know we'll all meet again some time. In Heaven.
