HERMISTON A racist letter that recent Umatilla County commissioner candidate Jonathan Lopez claimed was left anonymously in his mailbox was written by Lopez himself, according to Lopez and Hermiston Police Chief Jason Edmiston.
On Monday, July 6, Edmiston said in an email that Lopez had confessed that he wrote the letter. Edmiston said the case would be forwarded to the Umatilla County District Attorneys office for review for initiating a false report, a Class A misdemeanor in Oregon.
From the onset, this alleged incident has been thoroughly investigated, Edmiston wrote in an email. Our investigation has shown that Mr. Lopez wrote the letter himself and made false statements to the police and on social media. The end result is a verbal and written admission by Mr. Lopez that the letter was fabricated.

At least for lawyers and doctors every state has a website that allows you to check on their license status, complaints, discipline, etc.
15 tabs up in Wisconsin and can't find any "Search on EMT license status" but this might be worth a call maybe for a license status link:
Emergency Medical Technician Licensing Basic, Intermediate, Intermediate Tech, and AEMT
Helen Pullen (608) 266-1568
helen.pullen@dhs.wisconsin.gov
From this page: Contacts by Service Area (Wisconsin)
Thought I had a couple more days ... ;-)
At 18 I wondered if she (Althea) could be an EMT - you can start when you're 17 but need 180 hours of specific courses and cannot be licensed before 18.
A call to the gal Helen Pullen re license status or a link to check might be interesting. Hope this helps.
If Pullen defers send her an email requesting the info - then it becomes a public record perhaps adding a bit of pressure.
Back to chores!
