Former “MythBusters” co-host Adam Savage has been accused of sexually abusing his younger sister in a new lawsuit.
The woman, now 51, claims that the abuse happened in the 1970s when she was between 7 and 10 years when they lived in Sleepy Hollow, N.Y “Beginning in or about 1976 and continuing until approximately 1979, Adam Savage, would repeatedly rape Miranda Pacchiana and force oral sex upon her, and forced Miranda to perform oral sex on him, along with other forms of sexual abuse,” the lawsuit, obtained by Fox News, alleges."

“While I hope that my sister gets the help she needs to find peace, this needs to end. For many years, she has relentlessly and falsely attacked me and other members of my family to anyone who will listen,” Savage said. “By spreading numerous untrue stories about us in pursuit of a financial bonanza, she has tortured our entire family and estranged herself from all of us. I will fight this groundless and offensive lawsuit and work to put this to rest once and for all.”

by leaving out his age, you are missing the important information. And how many other family members did she accuse?
I had a secretary whose step daughter went to the cops saying the entire family raped her at a picnic: what saved the family was that she named folks who were’t there and she had no hard evidence.
I’ve seen incest in families, but usually by teenage boys, but rape by 12 year olds who are Pre puberty?
Pretty sure normal dudes that age wouldn’t brag about doin their sister. Maybe that was just where I lived.
They may have seemed that way at times, but they solicited and relied on viewers for the myths they explored. In addition, they delighted in unexpected results and failures.

He would have bragged about having sex and would have talked about it. He might not have said it was his sister, but 8-12 year old brag about pretty stupid shit to his friends.
I’m 55. There was a kid I went to school with that was 13 that bragged about Having sex with girls. Kid was a fat loser and it didn’t add up. He admitted to another friend he was screwing his sister. It wasn’t like there was an internet or even Cable TV back then.
That is, if he is a Miss-Buster.
Yeah he’s 52 so if this happened he was young.

Something could have happened, but in those years I think most of us guys didn’t give such things a whole lot of thought, much less do them. At that age, a pile of comic books and some bottles of pop and I was about as satisfied as I could be.
My guess. Sissy is just pissy because Adam Savage hasn’t been sharing his millions. Seriously? Even if the allegations were true, he would have been 11 or 12 at the time. Can you really sue somebody for something you claimed they did to you as a minor 45 years ago?!?
Why drag this up now? They were both small children, playing around.

My kid was in cub scouts/boy scouts and wife was a scout leader.
There were 2 kids we ran across in cub scouts that were probably screwing their sister. They both made it through 2 campouts before they were kicked out of the troop (other kids told leaders they were talking about having sex... at 8 - 10 years old).
If he was 8, he probably didn’t perceive that it was sex.
He was 8 when is supposedly started. I remember being a very small boy and “showing a girl mine if she showed me hers”. Simple curiosity.
Like the article says, according to him, the sister has been trying for years to get a ‘financial bonanza’ out of him and others in his family. With the recent spate of years-ago accusations made by many women (some of them quite false), any woman who wants to make a try at ‘living on Easy Street’ just needs to gin up am accusation of some famous guy. Get it to the media and “presto!”...instant money.
I can believe they “played doctor” like many kids did back in the day. They do a lot more now, but back in the 60s and early 70s playing “doctor” was common.
