Former “MythBusters” co-host Adam Savage has been accused of sexually abusing his younger sister in a new lawsuit.
The woman, now 51, claims that the abuse happened in the 1970s when she was between 7 and 10 years when they lived in Sleepy Hollow, N.Y “Beginning in or about 1976 and continuing until approximately 1979, Adam Savage, would repeatedly rape Miranda Pacchiana and force oral sex upon her, and forced Miranda to perform oral sex on him, along with other forms of sexual abuse,” the lawsuit, obtained by Fox News, alleges."

“While I hope that my sister gets the help she needs to find peace, this needs to end. For many years, she has relentlessly and falsely attacked me and other members of my family to anyone who will listen,” Savage said. “By spreading numerous untrue stories about us in pursuit of a financial bonanza, she has tortured our entire family and estranged herself from all of us. I will fight this groundless and offensive lawsuit and work to put this to rest once and for all.”

What savage acts.
Far too many women use rape as a means to gain attention. False allegations need to land the accusers in prison for a very long time.
Well, whether this is true or not I really could never stand to watch either of those two. They come off as haughty, smarter than thou dorks, when they’re actually like those guys in the Sonics commercials.

He’s 52 according to his wiki page, article says she’s 51, so if this happened when she was 7-11, then he was 8-12.
I knew an obese girl who claimed abuse. Perhaps an abused girl will deliberately make herself unattractive to her abusers.

I’ve heard that some adopt that as a strategy.
Indeed, and far too many children had no voice, no ability to refuse and often family ranks closed tightly around the accused. And, once they came of age, they had no evidence to verify their accounts and the wall of silence remains.
Child abuse is a great evil on society. While some child/child “sexual” events can be excused, adult or older child/child events are most hideous.
I have no dog in this particular fight, so we are just discussing the topic.
Sounds like Savage wants bust this ongoing myth.

Innocent until proven guilty is still a thing...for now.
Or let their appearance go because of depression.
If he was 8-12 when it happened, he would have likely bragged to a school friend about it.
If no one comes out of the woodwork in the next 3 weeks, she’s likely a nut job.
